Cipora Julianna Kohn   (06.14.13)
all decisions are made by the grand ayatollah khamenei and his closest aids. regardless of who is elected president, iran will continue on the path of acquiring nuclear weapons and exporting terror wherever they want.

3. Faux Election
(06.14.13)
The good people of iran Are Duped Again! Your ayatollah Cockamamie is your president, your baba and your g-d! You have No True Voice And your future is all figured out for you, you people are as free as A Caged Animal in a Zoo! Your never had a choice Your mad mullahs have knocked you all down on the evolutionary scale two notches! The difference between animals and humans is a prehensile thumb and the ability of free choice! No free choice for masses, but your theocracy are the only ones to have free choice, at the expense of the masses!!!
4. Prayers for Iran
Adam Neira ,   Paris, France   (06.14.13)
There is a divinely mandated solution to the Iran/West imbroglio. No matter how you play out all the scenarios, one is the best. Or to put it another way...Looking back from 2050 what is the optimal path ?. Which narrative should unfold ? The truth is that the children of the Holy Land and Persia deserve a future of peace and prosperity. People should ask themselves..."Why has G-d lined up the geo-political chessboard like this at this time ?" Prayers for the Iranian people on their big election day. P.S. Recently Google scientists working with mathematicians discovered that a Rubik's Cube no matter how diabolical its configuration can always be solved in twenty moves if the correct algorithm was in place. They called this the "G-d Algorithm".
5. IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE................#1
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (06.14.13)
To Iran as well.Whoever is elected will not be liked by you and your likes equally.
6. the ayatollahs rule Iran not the president
zionist forever   (06.14.13)
The president is elected but any candidates for thee presidency must be vetted by the religious council which is made up of ayatollahs. The council also tells the president what things they can or cannot do. If the Iranian president wanted to end the countries nuclear ambitions if he is ordered by the council to keep perusing the program then he will have no choice, Ahmadinejad is a product of the ayatollahs. Until they go Iran will remain a rogue state although at the same time we should not try topple dictators, kings or religious rulers no matter how much we don't like them because they at least provide stability and Syria & Iraq should be proof better the enemy we know.
7. #5 Makes a difference to Khamenei
Cynthia ,   USA   (06.14.13)
We learned from Ahmadinejad's presidency that he had no power. He loved being in the limelight, making threats and pounding his chest while serving as Khamenei's puppet. Khamenei has proven to be a paranoid, insecure, power hungry leader content to sit back, exhaust Iran's resources and pay no attention to the needs of the people. In this election, he seems more insecure than ever because he's not sure he can put someone in power that he can control. The next president, particularly the candidate supported by the Revolutionary Guards, could turn against him.
