Assuming it was possible to make peace with Syria the price would be the Golan and we have already seen that even in an age of missiles the strategic high ground of the Golan is essential and we won't be getting anything from Syria without something in return. We are probably going to find Israel's left and America is going to start pushing real hard for a deal with Syria at the expense of the Golan as soon as the civil war ends, we need to strengthen then new moderate regime and Israel must show its commitment to peace with Syria. Iran nobody knows the first thing about tho Iranian president and suddenly everybody thinks he is the great reformer, we can finally make peace with Iran now Ahmadinejad is gone. The palestinians will want to be best buddies if we just give them a state. Why is it when people who once held important security positions during their career suddenly become blind to reality and think peace process is the solution to all our problems and if we only agree to make enough concessions we will get peace.
