1. "American advisers supervise war games in Jordan"
A ,   Belgium   (06.19.13)
History repeats itself, except that every time America sends "advisors" to help an ally (I'm thinking of France right now), they end up embroiled in a conflict that they eventually lose. And if Oblabla thinks he can go toe to toe with czar Putin, well Oblabla is going to learn real quick that this ain't no golf game.
2. What's up with the Jesus adds?

Is Ynet desperate for advertising money?? Or is it some kind of joke?

If you pay attention to the painfully bold text next to every ad, you'll see that they're all by Google. GoogleAds defines these by demographic, and considering you're browsing the English version of Ynet, it's safe to sy most of the people here are from America or the UK, thus GoogleAds bring in Christianity as a relevant subject automatically. You will not find Jesus ads on Hebrew ynet as most of its viewers are Israeli. Your country, IP, browser information, system specs, and a few other things are all transmitted to the website as identification data that may or may not be used to specialize ads or track unique user traffic.
4. #3, how did you get to know so much?:)

Good explanation, but with those slimy missionaries you never can tell. I say they paid bakshish to Ynet for the adds.
6. Dagan is right.
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (06.21.13)
I had the same question. and was told that under its standard contract Google routes ads independently of the sponsoring site (Ynet) although Ynet probably could make an issue out of it if it wanted to. Seeing those ads reminds me of the missionaries who used to stand near my son's school in Manhattan.
