for Israel one day. Protests or not, but subject is priceless.
2. Always bitching

Does anyone wonder where the money for more exploration will come from when you prevent profits? If one person gambles, why does everyone want a part of the winnings? When more gas is found, will we sit on it for 50 years? Will gas still be an issue in 15 years or will some other source for power be invented? Then what will you do with the gas? Instead of complaining, go out and find your own gas well.
3. its not about do we have enough its about peoples gas
zionist forever   (06.19.13)
I would have capped the gas exports at 25% -30% but 25 years is a reasonable amount of time for providing the countries needs. Moaning about the idea they will have to pay six times the price in 20 years in 20 years is not much of an argument for not exporting. The left have been selling this whole idea of this being the PEOPLES GAS and they don't want big companies and evil tycoons stealing the peoples gas. They want us to keep the lot so big business doesn't profit out of it We also cannot tell the companies drilling for the gas we won't let you export any for the next 5 years so we can discuss an energy plan whose outcome we have no idea. As long as Noble are going to be spending hundreds of millions drilling for this gas we have to work with them and not dictate to them. If the left want us to keep it all then let the taxpayer take responsibility for getting it out the ground and pay the bills to do it which will run into the hundreds of millions if not billions. Be cheaper to buy from abroad at six time the price right now.
4. Let these 100 ppl pay the $100s of millions to get the gas

Pity they don't understand how the real world works. Let them go to work instead of loitering in the street, for stupi reasons. P.S. at one time the gv't was talking about a $100 billion Wealth Fund for education, health ,etc. THANX LEFTIES FOR COSTING US $40 billion by scaring politicians
9. Protestors are idiots
Avner ,   Tel Aviv   (06.20.13)
The protestors are idiots. They have no understanding that now is the only opportunity when exporting gas will be profitable. In less than a decade worldwide prices will fall massively. The money that is made from gas exports can be funnelled into education and research and development.
10. We're fortunate that we have only hundreds of these usual
tom ,   tel aviv   (06.20.13)
idiot-protestors. Tomorrow they'll be protesting drilling for gas because it brings on Global Warming...or sumtin'...
11. It appears that Iranians are smarter ...
spyguy ,   Seattle   (06.20.13)
The protesters have a very valid point that an energy poor country should not sell energy, but should carefully ration its use for long term internal security. Iran is taking a different approach, they are trying to move most of their energy usage to solar and nuclear so they use very little oil & gas internally, so they can sell it for large profit. If Israel wants to sell gas for revenue, then it should convert internal usage to renewable forms of energy. Given Israel's extensive nuclear capability it is ludicrous for Israel to still be using gas and oil energy.
