... I'll be adding it to my "worthy of supporting" list. I'm already supporting the Technion - which, BTW, does include kippa-wearers among both its faculty and student populations, though obviously far fewer than JCT. I'm far closer to "traditional" than Orthodox, but if the school can graduate people with such dedication and creative thinking, it's worth supporting. Apropos, according to the Friends of JCT, "The vast majority of JCT students serve or have served in the IDF and most Nachal IDF soldiers attend JCT."

what his story proves in particular is the fight of brilliant minds against ossified scientific communities and their inability to evolve and accept that which is new and innovative. this brilliant man makes me especially proud because he persevered against the entire scientific establishment.
