1. IT is only vandalism !
Trump   (06.24.13)
Granted, these are not acts we may be proud of But comparing vandalism by Jews to terrorism is stupid . If other nations think Jews are not allowed to pratice even minor acts of evil would mean that we are superior to them.....
2. I think these comments are very noble.
Mark ,   London, UK   (06.24.13)
3. It is not ONLY vandalism
Dan ,   Kefar Sava   (06.24.13)
If this was a one time act, it may be called vandalism, but this terror - which no one knows if it will escalate or not to murder is not ONLY vandalism. The police must stop the people who are executing the acts of terror. Terror to the person being targeted. If the acts had been done in other Israeli cities, I would not have been surprised, that it happens in Abu Ghosh means the acts are not against enemies of Israel, but against all. Price Tag has acted against various religions and now against a group who stood with the Zionists even before there was a state.
4. I can not agree more with you !
(06.24.13)
I work in a hotel and it's unbelievable how many Israeli jews always ask me if there are Arabs coming to the hotel too. In the country where I grew up, no one would dare ask such thing! I wonder what would be the reaction if I would start going around places asking if there are Jews.... Racism and separation, even if not practice technically but rather socially, is very well rooted in the Israeli psyche !
5. Have I missed something here?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.24.13)
Where is the proof that these acts of vandalism were indeed perpetrated by Jews? It seems to me that if Arabs wanted to provoke confrontation between Arabs and Jews, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better target than Abu Ghosh. Arab political agitators are responsible for these acts. Not Jews. It is a shame that so many people seem determined to climb aboard the "blame the Jews" bandwagon. It is a greater shame that quite a few of these people are Jews. They are playing straight into the hands of people who do not wish us well, and wish to drive a wedge between Jew and Arab where none has ever existed. It's not only terrorism, it's blood libel. Don't allow yourselves to fall victim to evil Arab perfidy. That they have no problem in victimizing their own brethren should tell you all you need to know.
6. I have a neighbor
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!! ,   United States   (06.24.13)
a new neighbor with 5 kids. I befriended one as he spoke with me while I was gardening and he started showing up at my door regularly. I began to ignore his bell ringing and later found myself robbed of several outdoor items. A nice kid, 6 years old, professing to " follow Jesus." I later asked him about it and asked 'would Jesus be pleased ? One item was returned, his father showed up with some fresh picked tomatoes from his garden and we spoke briefly. My items were never returned. Now, this is just a kid, a very young kid, his parents tried to raise him right and yet.... He could be of any religion, he could have been honest too. What to do?
7. Sarah, you seem to have the vision of a prophet
(06.24.13)
You see and know better than: Shabak Video Survelliance Undercovered cops Policemen Detectives It has been proven over and over again that it's Jews who commit these acts! Shabak even inflitrated and film a group of settlers preparing attacks! YES and Channel 11 have programmed a full documentary on that ! How blind can you be?
8. Very true.
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (06.24.13)
Well said Mr. Jawdat Ibrahim! This is terrorism as it's goal is to frighten. It comes from the top. The fact that the gov't refuses to accept these acts for what they are - terrorism - is a basic cause of their repetition and continuance. The police catch Arab terrorists almost immediately. The rarely catch these "price tag" terrorists. Why? This behaviour must be stopped. That can only be done by the police acting in their capacity to protect the citizenry. The residents of Abu Ghosh ore full Israeli citizens - more so than many Jewish residents of the country. It is about time that they are treated as such!
9. I agree whole heartedly
Rami of Nazareth ,   Israel   (06.24.13)
Israeli society is very diverse, promoting a culture of hate will not benefit anyone. Politicians and officials can do a lot to promote coexistence; it is time to move beyond denouncement statements made for the media..
10. Yes ,its TERROR
Mendoza ,   Tel-Aviv, Israel   (06.24.13)
And the Israeli government due to its non action or inertia therefore AGREE with it. Otherwise there would be arrests and people WHOEVER they are would be punished ie as it should be when ALL people are EQUAL before the law. In Israel not ALL people are equal before the law. This price tag terror is therefore very convenient for the government and in phase with their policies. Unwritten policies of course.
11. My appologies
Avishai ,   Israel   (06.24.13)
As an Israeli Jew I want to apologize to the residents of Abu Gosh, to Arabs in general and to Israelis as well for the acts of these hooligans, whoever they are. This kind of mindless bigotry can not be tolerated by any society.
12. Who is on first?
adam eliyahu   (06.24.13)
Price tag attacks (if they actually are perpetrated by settlers) came about as revenge for Arab violence. Now, Arab violence is seen as revenge for price tag attacks. That is clearly a distortion of the truth. Arab violence, justified or not, was not instigated by price tag attacks.
13. to super smart #7 who knows it all
Leah Goldsmith ,   Itamar Israel   (06.24.13)
Your comments are based solely on knowledge you acquire through the media. What if I were to tell you that tens of HUNDREDS of TERROR related incidents on the roads perpetrated against your JEWISH brothers and sisters happen every day -but are not fit to print in this present day media because it just isn;t politically correct. Can graffiti be compared to a car jacking? Can a punctured tire compare to a rock bashing through your front windshield? Let's put brainwashing aside -and be left alone with the facts- the facts YOU DO NOT KNOW. The reversed descrimination you boast with such confidence goes way back in time to Joseph being thrown in the pit BY HIS OWN BROTHERS. There is so so to fix.Chaval.
14. #13 Leah Goldsmith
Batsheva ,   Arad   (06.25.13)
So, why don't you leave Itamar - Plenty of space in the Negev. Or go back to the States where you came from on first place
15. #14
(06.25.13)
And give her town over to the murderers of the Fogel family, and their supporters? Do you leftists have any conscience at all?
16. to #14 Batsheva
Leah Goldsmith ,   Itamar Israel   (06.25.13)
Our love and appreciation for Eretz Yisrael will over ride your sinat chinam-
17. Sarah, I hope you will be as careful next time
Boreme ,   Sin City   (06.25.13)
when someone vandalized a Synagogue somewhere in Europe or the US. After all, who knows who is behind those acts?
18. The shabac will not
Daniel ,   TA - IL   (06.25.13)
go after its own... remember during the olso years... eyal, a shabac sting operation. Kids during anti gaza deportation protest could be thrown in jail for weeks without due proces, yet the shabac could not arrest federman openly incirting violence... why, becaus all this is leftwing crap to provoke the 'let's be anti jewish gutmensch bandwagon'. All this to demonize jews by jews. I am disgusted. What about avishai raviv, another shabac agent, never broufht to justice... and our media keep willingly quiet.
19. Jerusalem Emek Rafaeem public pool
Rachel Ginsberg ,   Jerusalem Israel   (06.25.13)
I am a Jewish mother of seven living peacefully in Jabel Mukaber. I get along with my Arab neighbors. I have taken my children swimming many times in the public pool on rechov Emek Rafaeem where Arabs swim in the same pool as the Jews. Arab boys come there in gangs to start up with Jewish young girls. They don't know how to swim. They do not listen to the lifeguards. They behave like animals. BUT they are not doing anything against the law so they can nor kick them out of the pool. These boys are hooligans who ruin a good decent pool. I wish they were not allowed to swim there. And yesterday a group of Arab youth got out of a car and beat up a Jewish man by the Tayelet very close to my home. Who are the hooligans?
20. Oh, it's just Vandalism
Leeza ,   USA   (06.27.13)
12,000 Palestinian rockets have fallen on Sderot and Ashkelon in the last ten years but don't worry, they (those Jews) deserved it as some Jew wrote a negative remark about an Arab or Islam on a wall! In the last 10 years 21 people have been shot, stabbed bludgeoned and slaughtered like a sheep in Itamar and even a 3 month old baby...but don't fret I am sure one of those Jews gave a dirty look to an Arab on the road somewhere. Or maybe the baby cried on the bus purposely annoying an Arab while they were praying. My oh my! It is happening all over the world, I mean just last month 3 wicked people from England had their heads hacked off with a knife by a poor Muslim who was most certainly disrespected or accused of violence. The atrocities of it all. When will the world wake up and see that Islam is a religion of love and tolerance to all. They love their fellow Muslims, you can see it daily in the middle east. They loves their wives and daughters and have such "honor" for them. Here is a good plan of peace, Jews promise not to write mean graffiti and Arabs promise not to murder.
