It's probably standard way of checks and balances when large companies involved. On my mind there is really nothing to check for. Waze and Google are too far away from each other in their core business. Far enough to call out this review completely un - nesessary at least and egregious use of taxpayer fund as "norm".

Facebook should step up and bid now 900 million because the deal will not go through because the US government and American people hate monopolies. Keeping monopolies down creates low prices and fair competition. Just look what happened in Israel when the cell phone monopolies collapsed, the prices for service is as low as in the states and in some cases lower which is unbelievable.

Apple should have bought it considering what a joke their mapping service turned out to be and they had to grudgingly go back to Google maps as a result. I hope Google are forced to sell Waze because can then make sure they are the only ones with a good mapping system. Competition is good for the ussr and the industry. I would like to see it bought by Apple or Microsoft both of whom are forced to currently use Google maps and both have the money to buy if Google is forced to sell.

Waze and Google signed an agreement. The Waze people have their money in the bank. Google now owns Waze The USA has anti-trust laws since Google owns Waze and since Google is incorporated in the USA, then USA anti-trust laws are in effect and the USA is within its legal right to determine whether or not Google has violated USA anti-trust law. If Google has violated USA anti-trust laws then Google must sell Waze. How you get anti-semitism out of that is way beyond me. In other words boy you' Stupid be showing cover that up!
