1. Unfortunately, she probably has placed herself...
Charles ,   Paris, FRANCE   (06.23.13)
...in the crosshairs of every Muslim jihadi group on the planet.
2. Her most important comment
Arnold ,   Montreal Canada   (06.23.13)
Was when she mentioned that in reference to human rights she referred to needing to examine the same rights in the other Middle East countries. She implied that the UN needed to be more fair in their investigations.
3. Chapeau! But:isn't it strange, that for someone(a MUSLIM!)to
tom ,   tel aviv   (06.24.13)
acknowledge basic right of Jews to exist is equal to a revolutionary/visionary thought almost worth Nobel Prize...?
4. One Muslim woman of courage
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!! ,   United States   (06.23.13)
are there more? KEEP BUILDING !!!!
5. On boycotts
USA   (06.24.13)
On the subject of boycotts, it's a two edged sword. The non-Islamic world can also boycott Muslim business, doctors, dentists, restaurants, etc. In fact many this does take place in the US especially after each incident of Islamic terrorism. This action will spread worldwide...there is no reason to support any Muslim business if they call for the boycott of others, especially when their cause is a total block to world peace and harmony.
6. still "radical" or "political",NO EVRY MUSLM POTNTIAL JIHADI
Sammy ,   Iowa   (06.24.13)
7. The Quran's message all too clear
grp ,   Tel Aviv   (06.24.13)
All very nice but the reality is this: the Muslims who follow what we should call a "western" path are those who have chosen the freedom to overlook what the Quran all too clearly spells out. Every reading - which is done every day - reveals distinct provocation to violence: against all unbelievers (Jews and Christians distinctly named), and against women in general. Most Muslims, before the fundamentalist era (starting with Iran) led to fanaticism, were more like Ms Raza. However, it cannot also be denied that similar fundamentalism - violence and intolerance - is rising in Judaism (and many other faiths). The whole world needs to wake up to what all this is leading to.
8. To Raheel
Gal ,   Tel Aviv   (06.24.13)
Thanks for coming to Israel. Bravo for your strength of character to speak out as one of a few lone voices in the Muslim world. I salute you and welcome you to our country.
9. A Voice of Selfdeception !
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (06.24.13)
The one who practises Islam will come to Allah !. There is no Freedom in Islam. HASHEM is not Allah - Allah is the Other One !. Arn.Sweden,
10. No every Muslim potntial Jihadi 6
AL QUDS AL YAHUDI ,   QUDS HAKA AL YAHUD   (06.24.13)
Hi Sammy, NO EVRY MUSLIM POTNTIAL JIHADI, the answer is All the problems, violence and terror all over the world is done by Muslims/Islam/Arabs in the name of their pagan god called allah !±!!±±±±!!!!!!
11. whilst she may be nice and good.....
Volvi   (06.24.13)
she still has to go back to the Quran as her source. Theres no defending its texts, its a book of war, piracy and how to share the booty. Islam cannot be reformed, it has to be removed from the minds of the human specie. Islam and freedom are mutually exclusive. The first victims of Islam are the moslems themselves and she is no different, She cant paint Islam acceptable, its own texts condemn it to medieval times and no amount of reformation can change it. After all did not Allah dictate it?
12. Sorry, Islam&Koran foster intolerance
Moish ,   Jerusalem   (06.24.13)
She contradicts herself, at one point she says her group doesn't represent the majority of Muslims, then later she says radicals have hijacked Islam and betrayed the moderate Islam of the silent majority. Why didn't Felice ask about passages in the Koran which describe Jews as being descendants of Pigs and Monkeys, how Mohamed raped and married a child, how beating a woman is a husband's right, cutting of limbs as a means of justice, etc etc?!?
13. Most religions breed racism
me   (06.24.13)
Interfaith? that is the privilege a a few enlightened souls. Most religions breed superiority over others in their essence.
14. Chapeau
Veronique ,   Israel   (06.24.13)
Well, this lady deserves all the kudos and medals and support we can give her. She is the voice of the future! The Muslims themselves would feel better if they followed her lead and the rest of the world would be a better place. Long life to you so you can continue to "preach" Islam as it should be: a compassionate beautiful faith. Good luck and may God help you and support you in your endeavor!
15. To Nos. 11 & 12
Bertram ,   London, UK   (06.24.13)
OK. We can all be holier than thou. If we deconstructed the Hebrew Bible and the sacred books of other religions we would find passages that many would find deeply unpleasant, bloodthirsty and promoting intolerance towards others. So, let's not go down that road - it's a fruitless journey. Let's instead consider the actions and words of people.Let's marginalise and defeat the fanatical fundamentalists - on all sides - and promote democracy and the development of a civil society where individuals of all faiths and none can flourish. It will be a hard, long but worthwhile struggle. Bravo to Raheel.
16. 10
anton ,   istanbul   (06.24.13)
pagan? do you know what pagan means :) all gods are human made it may be hard for you to acknowledge that but this is reality
17. Raza
Get Real ,   UK   (06.24.13)
Fine words from a brave lady who has the sense to see the reality of what is happening to her religion, and how the extremists have hijacked it and what they have done to it, and where they would like to take that religion to. Needs more like her to speak out, as well as the leaders, and to act accordingly if they wish to change the negative perceptions of the religion.
18. #15
Volvi   (06.24.13)
The simple difference is that other faiths no longer practice any barbarity, they have adapted to modern times. But not so with Islam, it holds its followers to backwardness and barbarity and cannot be reformed. And those that seek to leave the ME to the west bring their cult with them and continue its practises. Few of course not but majority will not conform to western ways, on the contrary.
19. To some of you here:
KK   (06.24.13)
The person in this instance is not the only one decent Muslim . There are many among them who detest the ultra jihady types they abhor. I can only give you a mere three for a start : Wafa Sultan,Ayan Hirsi Ali,Brigitte Gabriell. And any more the media forget to mention. It has to be reminded,if only to educate the uneducated.
20. Right of Israel to exist
Joanna Freeman ,   East Bay Are, US   (06.25.13)
With all the nice talk, she only acknowledged the right of Israel to exist as a country, not as a Jewish country.... Not so much courage in my eyes.
21. #19Brigette:Christian, Wafa:ex-Islam, Hirsi:Atheist
Annie ,   Netanya   (06.25.13)
None of the above are Muslims who adhere to Islam. Brigette Gabriel is and always has been a Christian who experienced first hand the violence of Muslims in her homeland, Lebanon. She is an Arab, but a Christian, not a Muslim. Wafa Sultan denounces Islam. She wrote the book, "A God Who Hates" and says that Allah is so hateful and demands his followers to subjugate and murder women and others. Ali Hirsi is a self-proclaimed Atheist, who grew up in the sick Islamic culture in a place where female circumcision was the norm and she herself was brutally cut herself. These women either were never Muslim or have left Islam completely and see the Koran, Hadiths and Islam as the true problem, since it calls for hatred, intolerance and violence.
22. hard to ignore
alfonso ,   milan italy   (06.27.13)
It is indeed strange and at the same time encouraging to see that the occasional voice raises up for a better world. however , it is also hard to ignore that so far I heard the names of the 3 ladies you mentioned plus Raheel Raza , all of which outside their original countries, but no men . what are they afraid of ??
