2. Erdogan
Joe Malanti Seymour ,   Proud israeli   (06.26.13)
Isn't it about time Erdogan is reminded about the Armenian genocide?
3. Shabby and underhand
Tim ,   Brighton   (06.26.13)
So unlike the Turkey we know Maybe a reflection of the pressures Erdogan and Diddy Davutoglu are under at home for their excesses - they are beginning to look more like a couple of lame ducks than respected international statesmen And that cant be good for Turkey And by the way this is the third year so far Ive not been to Turkey for a holiday after visiting Turkey for 25 years! And why? Because at the time of Marmara..Erdogan pronounced that JEWISH Israelis were not welcome and has NEVER since sought to invite us back So we go to Israel India and Greece instead And as time goes on - the desire of going to Turkey become less and less pressing and in time will cease altogether Though our many close friendships with Turkish Families in Istanbul will continue we hope forever
4. Incredible!
Mira ,   Vienna   (06.26.13)
"...claiming that in Turkey the "executive branch cannot influence the judicial branch." This is the most impertinent and ruthless lie heard recently from Turkey and there were many lies! The jurisdiction is heavily influenced by AKP. I dearly hope that the recent protests will cost this Turkish rogue his political life eventually!
5. Relations soured before the Marmara
Avi   (06.26.13)
Those with long memory would remember relations with Turkey soured before the Marmara. It's Erdogan's political game and nothing more to use Israel to gather more votes from the religious right. It's not far from any strategy M.E rulers have had over the decades. It should not have been a surprise that appeasement to Erdogan backfired even after the UN's inquiry declared Israel was in the right.
6. turkish misconduct : boycott all turkish
dr daniel mostrel ,   paris france   (06.26.13)
i cannot understand that israelis follow to travel for holidays to turkey ; be proud jewish go to hell turkey and erdogan
7. I told you so !!!!!!!!
Mike ,   NZ   (06.26.13)
And bear in mind that this is the country that Israel seems willing to share its sensitive defense secrets . . . I find this hard to understand, but then again I must be from a different planet !!
8. Bibi humiliated Israel by apologizing!
Dee Bee ,   Israel   (06.26.13)
Turkey sent terrorists on the Marmara to kill and injure Israeli soldiers who are OUR children! All Netanyahu did was appease Obama who will sell Israel out at the first click of the fingers of the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia, the US's "allies"! Turkey and Erdogan are allies of Hamas and thus Turkey is part of Hamas' plan to destroy Israel and the Jewish people! Anyone who thinks that the Israel-Turkey situation can be "fixed" is delusional because the Turks supported Erdogan's fundamentalist policies in three elections. We can never forget the screams of "Jews get out!"
9. Looks like Israeli leaders aren't able to learn ANY lessons,
tom ,   tel aviv   (06.26.13)
so it is only fitting that Ankara rubs our collective nose in it. Not very "confidence building" measure by our own PM! and I refer to our confidence in our own government's wisdom....
10. had it coming
Avshalom ,   Haifa   (06.26.13)
This is a slap in the face of all you who supported apology to Turkey. What a disaster! Every Jew should raise awareness on the issue of Kurdistan Assyrians Alevis being discriminated by Turkish imperialism. This is what Turkey deserves for this and calling Israel a genocidal state.
11. What do you expect, Shimon Shiffer?
Israeli 2   (06.26.13)
With Israel's lapdog behavior, our PM has brought it on himself.
12. IS IT THAT WHAT WE APOLOGIZED FOR ? THIS WAS SO PREDICTIBLE.
Nowhere Man ,   Metropolis, Zion.   (06.26.13)
13. MORE JOURNALISTS IN JAIL IN TURKEY THAN IN CHINA.

So much about the executive branch that DOES influence the juridical branch.
14. Obamas Policy still failing !.
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (06.26.13)
15. Low Sofa Time?
Mark of Lewiston ,   USA   (06.26.13)
Is the price per death for Turks anywhere near the price (adjusted for inflation) per death of Americans aboard the Liberty, another "mistake?" Has any compensation been paid? Does a PM in Turkey have the ability to interfere with the courts? Or are legal niceties to be overlooked? Are there no Israelis lawyers who can read Turkish law and verify facts? Should Turkey send somebody just to sit on the low sofa? In the US, Bush could not stop Texas from ignoring treaties the US had signed and ratified. Maybe Turkey's system handcuffs Erdogan.
16. Dont cry, the children of Israel
Dov ben David ,   Eilat Israel   (06.26.13)
Mr Erdogan compensates us every day with a gigantic import from Israel worth bilions of usd
17. Speaking of compensations, expenses, settlements,
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!! ,   United States   (06.26.13)
courts, etc. I wonder how much the exodus of the Syrian's are costing the Turks? As a Jew, it seems to me that not one of us should spend a dime for anything Turkish much less as Turkish tourists. Watch what happens with more time and more added unexpected burdens of masses of exiles starts to mount. Israel should NOT have apologized to this lunatic. Boycott Turkey!!! And..... KEEP BUILDING!!!

Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (06.26.13)
Yes, Erdogan continue on you fool. The more you mess with us the more you will get screwed. We are not going to pay you a red cent. You will be gone soon.
20. Nobody can humiliate you unless you humiliate himself
(06.26.13)
1000s of al-Quada are in turkey. And more freelancers are moving every day from S. Russia and Balkans. Turkey is the hub for al-Quada.
21. will turky became like iran....

what a great surprise.... This is an isalmist government who's dream is an Islamic republic much like iran...
22. Time to roast the turkey.
Bikerwolf ,   London U.K.   (06.26.13)
I guess it's time for Israel to send a flotilla of arms and goods through the Black Sea to the Kurdish fighters and see how Erdogan the Great likes that, eh? He bombs Kurdish villages in Iraq as and when he feels like it, without any condemnation from the UN/ EU/ or any other politician whining about being 'disproportionate '. Hopefully the secularists in Turkey will throw the turgid dictator out on his imperial rear-end at the next election.
23. of course they dare...
michel ,   Ashkelon   (06.26.13)
If they were confronting leaders as Begin o Shamir , sure they wouldn`t dare to be too much audacious
24. Mark of Lewiston
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (06.26.13)
As a Turkish born educated American: Laws in Turkey are made to remain in the books to show to western countries such as EU. Not to practice. Turkey in practicality is a lawless state. For example in the international bribery case of Siemens many Turkish government officials were implicated and German courts passed the files to Turkish courts many years ago but Turkish government (AKP) is not allowing action. Over 20 years ago ultra Islamist Sunnis put fire to Madimak hotel in Sivas burning many Alevis to death. The suspects were let go free by dragging the prosecution until it reached statute of limits. Their defense attorney Bulent Yildirim - organizer if Mavi Maramara and head if IHH - was their defense lawyer. Mark: turkey is a lawless state ruled by a dictator.
25. Thank you once again Israel
Jon ,   Baltimore US   (06.26.13)
Turkey does something to irritate you so you decide to hurt them, by attacking them with the US Congressmen in your pocket. When will Americans wake up and stop letting our foreign policy be dictated from Tel Aviv?
26. better TA than
sam ,   usa   (06.26.13)
its much much better the US policy be dictated by Tel Aviv than Riyad or worse Ankara, islam can buy only so much with their petro dollars and Erdogan is a troublemaker
27. $14 Million in Restitution Paid By Israel
Steve B ,   Ohio, USA   (06.26.13)
What is a Turkish family going to do with $1.5 million in restitution each. Their mean income is estimated at only $10,000 per family!
28. Armenian Genocide
sam ,   usa   (06.26.13)
about time is right
29. erdogan full of merde
milson   (06.26.13)
ths blowtorch who olmert trusted, is a coward who ran away from assad but talks tough with israel. Obama may not be weak but is acting like jimmy carter over and over again with his unilateral arms reductions, and his dumb reset with russian which is the wrong strategy with putin who needs someone equal in his face. israel shoujld not pay turkey one cent and in fact I formally tell erdogan to go to hell with his bs.
30. should have could have
