1. Israel merits highest place in Security Council.
BUTSeriously ,   Sydney   (06.27.13)
Israel is a 4000 year nation that has contributed more for humanity than any other and has experience of history. Those who automatically vote negatively against Israel when they should vote positively no matter what the motion are unworthy in the UN The. UN must negate UK, EU & Islamic states to vote on Israel.
2. It's NOT "Arab states"!
(06.27.13)
This is a term which is not true, and misleads people. It is "MUSLIM STATES". Why? Here's why: "Arab" is a race. Saudi ARABIA is Arab. Indonesia is a Far-East non-Arabic country, but it's a Muslim country. It's like saying "Christian States", and not "Russia, Sweden", ",Kenya (which is Christian) etc.
3. Amazing, isn't it?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.27.13)
Countries that are plagued by drought and low agricultural yields and high energy costs have so much they can learn from Israel -- Israel was the first country in the world to push back the desert successfully, to reforest a barren land and to harness the power of the sun. What a shame that there are countries whose hatred for the State of Israel and the Jewish people surpasses their need to learn valuable technologies from the one country in the world which has those technologies. Suits me down to the ground. Let's see what Kuwait and Bahrain have to offer. For free, of course. (I can save everyone the trouble -- the answer is "nothing." A great deal of nothing. Lip service is free, of course, but everything else costs money or is nonexistent.)
4. Ron Prosor best Israeli UN ambassador for years
Andrew Fink ,   Israel   (06.27.13)
Thinks out of the box. His UN concert featuring Rita singing in Persian was another master stroke

were among the countries that want cooperation with Israeli Technology, Turkey still have some weird connection to Israel, Technologic wise.

that improve their camel's handling. that is very important. they don't like the Israeli one that save water. what is water when your camel can run in full speed.
7. Re # 4 On Prosor
Ariel ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah, Efraim   (06.27.13)
B"H - Prosor should be replaced by a Jewish-looking, Jewish-thinking ambassador. What's the point in selling Israel as "a young and dynamic country" if he looks and acts just like any goy (non Jew)? It is a scandal that there is not one traditionally dressed, traditionally thinking Jew in the Foreign Service, highlighting the fact that there is a discrimination against the Jews in the State of Israel! The palis became a UN State under Prosor’s watch and he should assume his part of the responsibility.
8. Time frame for this event.
jrebecca ,   modiin   (06.27.13)
This report starts with talking of the event in the future, and then talks of it in the past. When was/will be this event?

What a sad lonely person you must be !!!
10. I have no idea what this article is about.
Miron ,   USA   (06.27.13)
Israel had a bright spot when out of 10 panels a week 8 were blocked, while our UN mission was under Mr. Meron Reuben. Since then the missing went back to old ways. Sleeping at the desk for 364 days, until a well agreed in advance camera catches Mr. Prosor in an well expected action.
11. Arrogance
Lubna ,   Doha   (06.27.13)
Do you really think you are all that good? As soon as emerging markets like Turkey, Brazil, India, Indonesia consolidates their power, thousands of new inventions and technological breakthroughs will appear. Who needs Israel anyway? Your biggest contribution to the world should be respecting human rights, treating people decently and stop flooding the world with weapons and ammunition.
12. The Arabs, through word and deed alike, demonstra
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (06.27.13)
that the conflict is not a local, Israeli-Palestinian one, but rather one between the Muslim-Arab world as a whole and the tiny nation-state of the Jewish people, Israel. And, it they also demonstrate that instead of seeking ways to cooperate peacefully, the Arabs do all the Arabs when they demand more and more concessions from Israel, some of which are very risky. And, why should the US administration do so...??

When you love your kids more than you hate the jews we will have peace. If if if if .... As soon as ..... Start to have respect for Israel in stead of blaming your failures to achieve anything on them. All you blame is done in your countries. Open up your human quality's and better the world.

Google HDI ranking first and compare Israel with states you mentioned. Then pay attention to the Turkey and Brazil (and Bahrain) were unrest is on going. Happy people indeed! Hope it comes to Qatar soon. Ah yes, congrats with the new non-elected gas-powered tiran!

Not to be outdone by Israel, PA Industries will be presenting its latest innovation. Borrowing technologies from Airbus and Boeing, they have developed the world's first carbon fiber ox cart.

It sounds like there was a organised Arab front to boycott Israeli bid but you have managed to list only three insignificant Muslim boonie states without saying why and act like it was your Normandy ;) ,...

hay honey, coming from where you come from which is doha, I WOULDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT TO LECTURE ANYONE ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!! DID YOU LOOK AT THE HUMAN RIGHTS TRAVESTY IN YOURS AND ALL MUSLIM COUNTRIES AND IRAN? ENOUGH SAID. and by the way, israelis and their achievements are GREAT! and the world, except for you, benefit from their greatness. this is why you muslims are all in the pitiful dismal condition you are in: illiterate, backwards, primitive, no science, no discoveries, no nobel prizes, no economy, no human rights, no free speech, hangings in public squares, beheadings, amputations as punishment, imprisonment, torture, zero freedom of speech and of press, etc.. etc...etc... hang your head in shame. hameed aboughaze, iranian
