Thomas Hobbes, in a prophetic moment, must have had the Likud in mind, when he wrote his Dog-eat-Dog World, where the characters are "solitary, poor, nasty, brutish and short"

Likud was founded to be a vehemently right wing patriotic party. This is what Israel wants and needs it to be. When Likud is true to its founding Constitution, it wins election landslides. When it slides to the center and left, like under Bibi, it faces disaster. Both for the party and for Israel.
4. Two Party System

Likud should merge with 80% of Jewish Home, 70% of Yisrael Beitenu. The young voters who voted for these two parties do not conform to the outdated million party currently in work. In order to make this merge possible, Land of Israel ideologues should be in key positions witin Likud institutions. Danon and Regev Levin Saar and Erdan Hotovely under Feiglin.
