If we want to ensure Syria is never a problem ever again then we need them to destroy their economy utterly. Blow up the oil fields, literally watch their main source of income go up in smoke. The rebels also captured a dam, if Assad were to bomb that and it burst then it would do alot of damage. Want to defeat an enemy is not with bombs its economically because no money they can't afford a war & have other things to worry about other than war We can just hope and pray that between them Assad & the rebels do so much physical and economic damage that the country will never be able to recover then Syria will never be a threat again once its chemical weapons are destroyed.
