Jews will necessarily be victims of verbal & physical assault. Bulleys attackthose people who they perceive tobe few in number and weak & not capable of retalitory action. Being identifiably jewish is not the only determinant of whether a person will be a victim of antisemitism. In 2008, i travelled round france & germany with my french wife who is not jewish. I am very semitic looking & i always wear a large Chai pendent for good fortune. I don't recall any overt or covert racism directed against myself during these visits. Back in the UK, in the street & the workplace, i have encountrred antisemitic abuse but this has been from indiginous white citizens, not moslems or other ethnic minorities & interestingly, the abuse has never been physical, merely traditional antisemitic insults and in addition, the subject of Israel has never cropped up as a pretext for this indiscriminate verbal abuse...so my experience of anti-semitism is very different from the moslem/north african arabic fuelled anti-semitism which is prevelant in France.

If the police are not providing adequate protection for Jews, then Jews must protect themselves. Find volunteers and train them in self defence and citizens arrests. The scourge will be stomped out when they start to go to jail or receive appropriate countermeasures.
