It's hard to get your team out for protests with any type of excitement if you are the Muslim Brotherhood if the entire country is facing rising food prices, long fuel lines, and intermittent electric power. Egypt has some serious problems. These are not people who are fed up with a political process as much as they are fed up with a bad economic situation. Morsi has not delivered any economic stability.
