1. Dictatorship
Bill Stein ,   USA   (07.01.13)
So based on this articles swatiskas on Jewish sites is OK and rock throwing against Jews and Leftist NGO groups spying against Israel is OK, BDS groups not a problem to Israel, but based on the below statement anyone not supporting Israeli goverment policies that result in the wholesale surrender of the West Bank and who is in a group is going to be defined as a terrorist even though they have nothing to do with the current Price Tag attacks? This sounds more like facist policies to me. Ya'alon: 'Price tag' acts 'illegal organizing' Ynet 7/1/2013 "the main goal of which is to prevent the Israeli government from performing political moves or enforcing the law, and hinder State's leaders from making certain decisions. Some of the acts possess an aspect of revenge on Arabs, which is for all intents and purposes terror."
2. Illegal, and unethical from a Jewish and universal view....
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (07.01.13)
....point of view. It will be uprooted!!
3. Yeah yeah yeah............
Bogyman ,   Tiberias, Israel   (07.01.13)
We have heard all about it 1000 times before. Its time to stop paying lip service and get some results, thats if you are serious.
4. What?
M.C.   (07.01.13)
I can't believe I'm reading this!!! Whose side is Yaalom on? He is such a disappointment! How about serious punishment for the rock throwing terrorists who attempt to kill Jews on the roads! Bibi talks about defending citizens but where is the actions!! Shame on you!!
5. Well good! About time too.
A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (07.01.13)
6. What they are doing is illegal no question about it.
sam ,   Israel   (07.01.13)
But why should it be treated differently than any other illegal act that is commited?
7. #1 Bill Stein from America
Michael ,   Haifa   (07.01.13)
Stein seems to know a lot more about fascism than he lets on in his talkback. I can only hypothesize that maybe it is in his DNA

TWO WRONGS NEVER MAKE A RIGHT. We are allowing extreme right wing thugs with evil and hatred in their hearts,to "take out on the Arab population, any attempt by our politicians at being evenhanded in solving or at least, controlling tensions on the West Bank.Anyone found taking part should be made an example of.There are Arab people who have lived there for many generations. They didn't just appear from USA SA or UK,change their names, grow beards(the men) and claim God given rights. The extreme section of Islam would also claim their rights or say that Israel should not exist. That is no reason to slash tyres of innocent peace loving folk in Abu Gosh, who live in harmony with Jews.Perhaps a little heavy handedness towards our settler extremist youth would not come amiss from our police or IDF
9. # 7 you are right
Kobi Martin   (07.01.13)
Michael, you right. You see, the Government and civil society make huge efforts to solve the problem of extremism and hate within our midst. Then, people from abroad, comfortably installed in Brooklyn, like ersatz Sarahs, comes to disrupt these efforts, preaching hate and intolerance. This is so, so unfair. We are a normal, decent society trying to cope with our problems as any other country. With what right those people think they can mess in our issues? Leave us alone! Dai.
10. #7 ouch!
ilan ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (07.01.13)
I have never been so proud and as equally ashamed of my country as i am now! no other country in the world as been a victim of terrorism as much as Israel has. and this message that we will not be hypocrites and fight terrorism while allowing our citizens to engage in it , is truly... amazing! yet having said that, i don't think our government should waste it s resources trying to bring down terrorists who only burn and destroy property, while on the other side you have terrorist who will stop at nothing to kill us! what shames me is the disallowing presence of attorney during investigation . as Israeli citizens i don't think they should have their rights taken away before being found guilty!

You both are absolutely right, the vast majority of Israelis are good and decent people and the vast majority see these despicable, racist terror attacks against innocent Arab civilians, citizens of Israel no less, as a racist abomination equivalent to the violent anti-Semitic acts of Kristalnacht in 1938 commited under the Nazis. Unfortunately within Israel and within sections of Diaspora Jewry there is a deeply committed, loudmouthed and politicaly powerful minority of racist messianic religious fanatics and and Arab hating Far-right extremeists who desire an ethnically pure Arab free greater Israel, these view are unfortunately spread on Ynet by a variety of regular users like Sarah B, Dror, Eaglebeak, Chaim, A of Belgium and Build Baby Build who all unfortunately have nothing better to do with their time but spew their repetitively boring and nauseating hateful bile on Ynet and fully support and seek to justify these violent and despicable price tag acts against Arabs and exonerate the vile individuals who perpetrate them, thinking up ridiculous conspiracy theories in which to do so. There is no point talking to these individuals rationaly and politely as they are incapable of being polite and rational to you back, however keep challenging them its up to all decent people out there to ensure these individuals do not become the majority on Ynet and do not become the Majority amongst Jewish People as a whole.
12. Doubtful. Nothing is done to protect
American Chrisrian   (07.01.13)
Non-jews from jewish attacks. Lip service
13. Decent talkback
Michael ,   Haifa   (07.01.13)
It is heartening to note that a small growing group of talkbackers with decent human values is making itself heard here.

A Jerusalemite ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (07.01.13)
I agree with everything you said - but - you left out 1/2 of the problem. Just as there are Jewish fanatics that must be brought under control, there are also Muslim fanatics that are even more dangerous. One cannot condemn the one without equally condemning the other.
15. #7 Hypocrite
Bill Stein ,   USA   (07.02.13)
We don't even know who even did the attacks and you automatically assume that settlers. Read the article and quotes by Allon Again it also says any one who belongs to a group that acts against the government can be considered terrorist. So if by theory you are against any withdrawals you are a terrorist and you protest with signs civil disobedience your a terrorist. The law seems to be against the right and ignores other actions by the left and the Palis. That's not demoracy.

To get a sense of proportion, how about you look up video tapes of Father Francois Murad from Gassanieh before we discuss whether or not graffitti is an attack?
17. #6 they ARE being treated differently
rm ,   Amsterdan, NL   (07.02.13)
they never get punished. The situation in the Westbank is volatile enough as it is. It doesn't need this kind of actions. Not from palestinians and not from jews. Yet palestinians face all kinds of punisment and the latter don't. How on earth is that fair. And something is done...over the last few weeks over 300 Palestinian stonethrowers have been arrested!

20. How many Jews have been judged in court for this?
Ralph Haglund ,   Sweden   (07.02.13)
One? Five?
21. In other news: arming, training and feeding those that come
Kerwood Derby ,   Frostbite Falls   (07.02.13)
to kill you is "legal." Destroying the lives you serve and are sworn to protect is "legal." Not removing the threat is "legal.". And as Bogie has said over and over again, ceding the land that belongs to all Jews past, present and future is "legal." Never, ever has he ordered the enforcement of the right of return of genocidal, mass-murdering extortionists back to the homicidal, Hamite peninsular homeland of their own name. Threats in your midst-Bogie's Survey sez arm, train and feed them-never remove them. Jews who love the land of their own name- Bogie's survey sez enforce the law with an iron fist as does BB.
22. Preparation for reactions to TSS
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (07.02.13)
There is every reason to believe that extreme elements on both sides will do everything they can to disrupt negotiations between Israel and Palestine. This is clearly a pre-emptive measure specifically designed to forewarn and contain those elements on the Israeli side of the table. Which strongly signals that Bibi is preparing to sit down at the table and hash out a two-state solution with Abbas.
23. #19 It's not overreaction, its preparation
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (07.02.13)
for your reaction to Bibi's announcement of a settlement freeze, prisoner release and th start of negotiations for a two-state solution based on 1967 lines and UNSCR 242
24. #19 It's not overreaction, its preparation
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (07.02.13)
in anticipation of the reaction to Bibi's announcement of a settlement freeze, prisoner release and negotiations for a two-state solution based on 1967 lines and UNSCR 242.
