1. The UNHOLY TRINITY in action
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (07.02.13)
This case in another illustration of how the UNHOLY TRINITY acts. 1) Classic Anti-Semites 2) "Progressive" anti-Jewish Racists 3) 7th-Century-Based Islamists These are the elements of which the UNHOLY TRINITY consists. And, the goal is to demonize, to de-legitimize and seek the very demise of the national home of the Jewish people, Israel, as a substitute for yesteryear's role of the Anti-Semite in society. Accusing the Jews, again, of every possible imaginary ill in society is part of it.
2. Of concern
Get Real ,   UK   (07.02.13)
From anti-Zionist to anti-Semitic. Easy to divert attention away from the real issues in the country and to blame the Jews.
3. always the same...blah blah blah
alsky ,   Toronto   (07.02.13)
its the zionists its the Jews its the west always someone elses fault and never their own. Islamic nations are all the same. They will never progress !
4. Jews in Turkey
DavidR ,   USA   (07.02.13)
Go home to the safety of Israel quickly! If you haven't noticed there is a polarization between Jews throughout the world and all nations. It has been foretold in your Nevi'im and you can observe it in your history. The world hates us. It is time to unite worldwide and go home. Blessings to all Yhudah!
5.  Proof that Turkey is not fit to belong to civilized commum
ky   (07.02.13)
let alone the European one.
6. Anti-Semitism, pure and simple
Eyal ,   Tel Aviv   (07.02.13)
If anyone was still under the illusion that Erdogan and his ilk were motivated by anti-Zionism and not Antisemitism, Turkey's Islamists have made the issue clear beyond a shadow of a doubt.
7. Has Bibi apologized yet?
(07.02.13)
8. 4 David
alsky ,   Toronto   (07.02.13)
so when are you moving to Israel ? Lots of luck ! Living in Israel was always a dream for me, however after going on 2 pilot trips, I will be staying in Canada
9. AIPAC prediction of unrest in Turkey
Arnold ,   Montreal Canada   (07.02.13)
I searched everywhere to find proof of this AIPAC prediction and found none. another example of a Turkish government official looking to put blame elsewhere.
10. Anti-Semite, Muslims like it better
David Fakheri ,   L . A U . S . A   (07.02.13)
I am an Iranian Jew and for me it's not strange that in a MUSLIM country when the leaders have to explain their shit specially when it's going to cost them loosing their heads the first thing they do is accusing the Jews for theirs faults even if they have small and not particularly wealthy Jewish communities . And if this doesn't work the next step is to blame the Jewish world or The State of Israel or the both because muslims accept every thing with the smell of Anti-Semite than their straight orders from Quran. David Fakheri
11. #8 David: Read Canada's history re: Jews!
Dee Bee ,   Israel   (07.02.13)
Canada is not exactly Jew friendly so I hope when they eventually turn of the Jews you'll remember what you said here!
12. #5, and since when is Europe civilized?
Jake ,   USA   (07.02.13)
70 years of relatively civilized behavior is quite a small sample size. Turkey would fit right in with the anti-semitic EU. At least there would be no delusions about the EU's disdain for Israel and the Jewish people.
13. #8 I've lived in Canada my entire life
Al   (07.02.13)
Don't get me wrong I love living in Canada, however the Canada I grew up in is changing very quickly. It is becoming a muslim entity, and we can all feel it. Quebec is fast becoming Quebecstan and we all know it. Halal meat is a fast growing market due to the booming muslim population in Canada. Don't be too smug...Canada would rather chase out its Jews than confront the muslims therein. Trudeau will be the next PM in Canada and he is no friend of Israel. I am sorry to burst your bubble but the Canada that once gave my late dad a chance at life is no longer the same Canada.
14. Erdogan and AKP paranoid conspiratorialist now antisemitic
(07.02.13)
Yes of course the jews are to blame for the Kurdish rioting and the opposition rioting and the protests in in Istanbul Ankara Bursa, Antalya, Eskişehir, İzmir, Edirne, Mersin, Adana, İzmit, Konya, Kayseri, Samsun, Antakya, Trabzon, Isparta, Tekirdağ, Bodrum, and Mardin. totalling overall at least 2.5 million people. Its amazing how the Jews managed to manipulate all those people in all those towns. Erdogan should face the fact that he is a dictator whose party and leader are disliked by his own people who want different and freedom from their government. And he is going to build his treasured shopping mall in spite of the overwhelming opposition.
15. #13-It's not only Canada.....
Koose E Mack ,   NY USA   (07.02.13)
My friend, if you think it's only Canada, you are sadly mistaken. Europe and the US are being taken over by Muslims. Demographically, with their rate of reproduction, North America will be North Ameristan in about ten years!
16. 13 Al
alsky ,   Toronto   (07.02.13)
I agree with what you say. Im disgusted what I see happening here too. Trudeau as PM ? not too sure about that ! That has nothing to do with my decision not to move to Israel. Furthermore, do you think Jews are safe in Israel ? Is Israel really the homeland of the Jews ? (last time I checked, the Arab population was increasing at a much faster rate) Add some Arab terror plus disgusting drivers. So when are you moving to Israel ? or just another armchair zionist like me ?
17. High time
Mira ,   Vienna   (07.02.13)
to recall the absolutely futile apology and stop the talks about reparations. BTW EU court thinks that 63.000 is enough, Turkey was fined this sum fort each child they killed, so why should Israel pay 1,000.000 for each terrorist?
18. #16 I've done my part..the only legacy I will ever leave
Al   (07.02.13)
behind are my kids. They live in Israel and all the tea in China couldn't bring them to stay in Canada. Trust me when I say that I tried what I could to get them to stay here with me. I hope and pray they will find their happiness in Israel. They are tough and determined. Whining and moaning is not their MO. Life is all about choices. We are lucky for we live in a free society. As it stands it is changing very quickly. How it turns out no one really knows. MY late dad used to say. "I've done my worrying, I will leave it up to the next generation to worry for me" Just remember one thing.... Sometimes in life you have to take a chance...sometimes you just have to take a chance.
19. Mental Illness
Paul ,   Jerusalem   (07.02.13)
Antisemitism should properly be classified as a mental disease. It obvious is a degenerate mental condition, whereby any irrational thought becomes plausible to the level of an obsession. Its source is definitely spiritual, after generations of alienation from natural law, and indulgence in falsehood. Saying something irrational for political gain is understandable in this day and age, however, the problem is that these low-life's actually believe it.
20. Islam will always blame non-islamic people
Beary White ,   Oslo   (07.03.13)
..the christians, the jewish, the hindies, every non-islamic follower is to blame for whatever negativity that happen. But the main problem is the western leftis leader who open the borders for this violent and deadly religion; a religion where their god loves to see its followers dead, going directly to hell, even to fight each other :-)
21. Sooner or later ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.03.13)
... that was bound to happen. The State of Israel needs to make it very plain to the little Turkish bantam rooster that Turkey will pay -- and pay dearly -- should any Jews in Turkey be harmed. Fairly easy to do, if you choose your target wisely. Erdogan has outlived his usefulness. He would be well advised not to take his imminent downfall out on the Jews. He won't like the outcome.
22. Any further proof needed that antizionism = antisemitism?
Tahl   (07.03.13)
Erdogan once prided himself for his tolerance toward Jews, "I am simply an anti-Zionist", he explained. Well, looks like the cat is finally out of the sack. There is no distinction between the two terms.
23. Someone is really worry Turkey might get alone with Israel.
Miron ,   USA   (07.03.13)
Let me guess... Mrs. Netaneyahoo. The country is in shock. Economy is plummeting. Military is out of control. People are leaving in droves. What else he can do but try to scare everyone about big bad Turkey... or something else.
24. 1913 called, they want their conspiracy theory back.
Abe Froman ,   NY, NY   (07.03.13)
25. anti-semitism is worse when
ghostq   (07.03.13)
a goverment offical say it. and it is never stop with jews, soon other minorities in Turkey will be threatened.
26. hate speech
machine ,   Ankara & Turkey   (07.03.13)
perception can be different around the world, however his wording has nothing to do with anti-semitism but hate speech. In spite of that as a politician he must be careful about his / her wordings. Turkish Jewish community was/is/will be part of our nation & history and we will never allow someone to harm them !
27. To: Tahl at No. 22
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.03.13)
There never has been any distinction between anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism. Anti-Semitism has not gone away -- it has simply morphed from hatred of Jews to hatred to that most tangible of Jewish symbols -- the State of Israel. The United Nations cemented that by passing a resolution which equated Zionism with racism. So the vilification of the State of Israel is just good old-fashioned anti-Semitism. And the international community sits back and does nothing. Where have we seen that before?
28. #16 sometimes
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (07.03.13)
Sometimes it is good to learn from history. 1932: Israel was occupied by the pro-Arab British who encouraged violent gangs to attack the Jews. There was malaria, hunger, and a corrupt Leftist Jewish governing organization. Europe was heaven. 20 years later there were no Jews in Europe, while the Jews of Israel remained relatively unscathed.
29. Machine from Ankara
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (07.03.13)
The difference between hate speech and anti Semitizm is that one is hate in general the other is hate targeted only to Jewish people. One is no worse then the other.
30. #24
sam ,   usa   (07.03.13)
time for Israel to recognize the Armenian Genocide and expose the real nature of a Turk
