2. erdogan is next
milson   (07.03.13)
Now that islamic hamas of egypt has been kicked out because they coudl not govern in a rational modern way, the next islamic stooge to boot the hell out of office is erdogan who israel's moron weakling olmert trusted. This antisemetic coward who ran from assad and who uses israel as a dish rag needs to be kicked out and jailed for his actions against jornalists and army officers.

4. the elected president must return the one whom bowed to BHO
Martin ,   SA   (07.03.13)
The elected Egyptian president must return the one whom bowed to BHO. The truly elected president left the country should be returned to take over immediately. He showed strength of character to leave the country when asked by none other than......ma. This way the correct election result can be re-instated. No elections would be needed. An American leader should stand up and apologise to the Egyptian people and perhaps even to Israeli people for interfering the way he did. His resignation would also be cosidered appropriate for the trouble and pain his MB team caused with his encouragement.
5. The people spoke
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (07.03.13)
Morsi lied to get elected and ruled like a tyrant.Nothing in his rule was democratic because he didn't rule with regard to the people's wishes. He hijacked the revolution and the people have democratically seized it back. Morsi and his apologists have tried to deceive us into believing that Egypt had democracy on the grounds that there had been an election, but having an election is not the same as democracy;it's what the elected do that matters and Morsi didn't deliver.I'm not aware that ancient Athens had elections but it's governance was democratic. As they say, there's no harm in having a dry run. Good riddance to Morsi.Egypt and the region are better off without him and Turkey and the region would be better off without Erdogan as well, for much the same reasons.Egyptians,Turks,Tunisians,Libyans, and I could go on and on,have a right to expect and demand better. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!

7. All honor to the military saviors
Cameron ,   USA   (07.04.13)
Egypt was falling into collapse. Sheer necessity dictates. The MB has voided their legitimacy through dictatorial abuse of granted powers & criminal incompetence.
8. Nu!
The Bald Scotsman ,   Tampa,usa   (07.04.13)
It wont make any difference. Whoever is in charge, the people will still have one thing in common. Their almost mutual hatred for Israel and the USA. Until the people stop biting the hand that feeds them and realizes good relations with Israel can bring real prosperity, nothing will change.
9. Morsi had to step down because
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (07.04.13)
30 million people were out demonstrating against him and demanding his removal. The Egyptian military is basically carrying out the wishes of the Egyptian people. This 4th of July, the Egyptians will be celebrating their independence day of freedom.

11. Freedom form Islamic Rule in Egypt!
Son Of Cyrus ,   UK   (07.04.13)
Egyptian, like Persians and Jews have been subjugated for centuries by Arabs and their culture. These 3 great ancient people and civilizations had much superior cultures however were militarily defeated by Invading Arabs. All international efforts must be directed at the Islamic Republic of Iran (Persia) to get rid of this backward and antiquated regime and bring back democracy and freedom to restore Persia to the standards of the founding father of the Persians CYRUS THE GREAT. May the light of Ahura Mazda guide all the good doers. GOOD THOUGHTS GOOD WORDS AND GOOD DEEDS. MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.

14. that was his problem all along
Matt   (07.04.13)
Listening to the MB the military said compromise he was advised to hold fast. So the intention was not to remove him, but he left them with no choice. That was his MB advisers. All the military was demanding that he keep his promise to rule for all Egyptians.
15. Moron Obama, Moron Hillary
USA   (07.04.13)
Obama and Hillary ngabled Mubarak's demise while the military supported Mubarak. Now the Mubarak boys are back in power proving the Obama foreign policy is morronic and naive to say the least. Not to mention all the lives lost, all the property damaged...!!!

20. #6. That's needed to remove the imposter in the WH.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (07.04.13)
You know, the tyrant who abuses his power, ignores the constitution and congress and who just loves the MB. Yeah, that same guy who does not mind if millions of innocent babies are butchered in abortions and who leaves US personnel to be slaughtered by terrorists without lifting a finger to help them. And guess what, his Dept of Homeland Security has stockpiled enough bullets to shoot each American five times. Let them dare rise up against him. It won't be like Egypt.
21. "Terrorists and fools"? Are they referring to the MB?
Harry Wright ,   UK   (07.04.13)
Can't be! Not Obama's angels!!! Don't tell me that Obama aligned himself with "terrorists and fools"!!! After all, we do know that birds of a feather flock together and gasp! Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are.
22. " all citizens must honor the constitution. "
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (07.04.13)
Yeah right...Whose?...The one you've been fiddling about with to suit your Islamist agenda, Morsi? Alek! Egyptian Army....Please get your 'Muhabarat' aparatus up and working to avoid any further problems from the MB. Fear always kept them at heel under Hosni..who can die in relative peace now after this happy day.
23. Morsi and democacy
Constantin ,   Bacau Romania   (07.04.13)
Morsi's spokesman said it was better that he die in defense of democracy than be blamed by history. He forgot to explain that Morsi actually meant to defend theocracy,be assured history will blame him regardless. He missed the opportunity to fulfil the expectations of the people of Egypt.
24. Isaiah chapter 19 is unfolding. Egyptians against
Rivkah   (07.04.13)
Egyptians, reign against reign, brother against brother. Why? Because the Creator God of the Holy Scriptures has sent a deliverer (General Al Sisi?) to help His people, the Coptic Christians of Egypt who were treated so badly by the Morsi Muslim Brotherhood regime they were being beheaded and crucified. Now they will know the Lord has not forsaken them.
25. This shouldn't come as a surprise
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.04.13)
The military telegraphed its intentions a full week ago. That Morsi and the Moslem Brotherhood chose to ignore the warning is entirely on them. I strongly caution the supporters of Morsi who are willing to become martyrs -- the Egyptian military has no problem taking them up on their offer. Think twice. In any event -- congratulations to the Egyptian military for having some degree of common sense.
