what are you talking about? Hamas wasn't on the rise until after Israel left gaza, and only after they slaughtered Fatah to take control! i can see you speak with your heart, but please don't offer opinions as facts, there is already enough of that going on without you! an opinion is just an opinion and should stay as so. you want facts? look at #28 look at #10 and from a Palestinian at that! #17 has his head twisted soo far up his, his facts are twisted as well. i was born in Israel, This IS my home. i will not leave just as much as the Palestinians won't leave. and why should they? it is as much their home as it is ours. Two states for two peoples is the only solution! WE are brothers, Palestinians and Israelis ! Its the few that are the extreme that is the problem! How dare you call yourself our family? the only thing we have in common that we both had at wee wee's cut when we were little. don't sit there and judge us like you know! you dont!, or DO sit there and judge us! exercise your freedom of expression but when you do, don't dare compare us with yourself! i can see clearly you choose life! what do you know of choosing life by giving yours to protect it? Ask your american soldier! they will tell you!

A Belgium does not consider Palestinians brothers but squatters who belong in Jordan. And if Palestinians are brothers, why aren’t I family? Because I was born in the U.S.? Because I have strong professional/personal ties to New York and Kyiv? Because I don't agree with the settlement policy? Or because young native born Israeli's consider themselves Israeli first and Jewish second (if at all)? You know little about me (or Akko where I am now sitting and smiling). For instance, I first came to Israel in the early Seventies – after my discharge from the U.S. Navy. Perhaps I know a little about sacrifice – and a little about just and unjust wars. I believe it is unjust to risk lives in support of illegal settlements. (The “unjust “ is an opinion; the "illegal" is a fact.) If you were born and are living in the occupied territory you have my sympathy. Israel was wrong to let you there. It would compound the wrong to let you stay there without an agreement with the Palestinians. Just an opinion, like #17, which I mostly agree with. p.s. The Hamas take over of Gaza was purportedly anticipated by the Shin Bet.
