If I remmember well the F16 is only 1 man crew and we have 2 injured... Maybe you are talking about a F15 Raam or sufa...

9. The Plane is the problem
Aging planes is the problem. It is like driving a 20-year old car.

10. @9 sufa(s) are 10 year old SE(s) are brand new.
Age would have being an issue, had we not had a number of F-16(s) falling down in US over past month.
Given how much Israel cares about planes and invests in over - engineering and care for each machine it seems there are either troubles are related to either
a. troubles in plane's very core
or
b. planes used for tests that put airplane out of its design parameters.

The fighter/bomber F-16 is modified as a two seater as well as single seat.
Made for long range bomb strikes.

Really shocking about the fighter plane.
More shocking is pilots were rescued from sea after 1 hour....Thank g*d and g*d forbid if they would have been injured.

Volume of planes is no trouble. Seriously.
Trouble is S-300 scored half a dosen F-16 th without a single shot.
Even that isn't a trouble. Trouble is someone fingering out in this direction in the West. Whoever is using Israel for this war - mongering excercises is endangering millions of lives. How do we replace those? Who is planning to take them?
Those are far more important questions.
