It is the judgmental Jews like you who feel you know exactly what G-D wants that push Jews away. Shame on you.
32. I understand why people get them...

Basically, tattoos are unclean. I believe tattoos are the outward manifestation of the evil inclination. It's sublimation in it's basic form. Self mutilation. Jews shouldn't have them. So, who is free from the evil inclination? No one. When you get old the ink blurs into blue blobs on your wrinkled skin. Looks real attractive lol!

From some one whose parents had tattoos and is waiting for the hashman to come. Your blasphemy has been duly copied and stored for later use against you.

Sargon had nothing to do with Moses. Did you read both legends? Sargon: Deposed previous king. Became king. Conquered empire. No plagues, no burning bush, no tablets of law. And Moses never conquered anything. Carbon copy? You need your eyes checked.
36. Why Not All Sins?
Avi ,   Queens, NY   (09.09.13)
Seems to me that Rabbis and cemeteries only focus on certain laws from Leviticus and the Torah and not all of them when it comes to burial. It's hypocritical and selective.

While some may think tattoos beautiful and an expression of their Judaism or personal love for another, I think they are ugly. They are an aveira, however minor you think that aveira is, it's still an aveira. If you want to express love for another person, tell and show them that you love them (perform an act of kindness, shower them with special gifts, become Ba'al Tshuva, etc.). If you can't / won't become Ba'al Tshuva then take on at least one additional mitzvah that you didn't do before. Stick with it.

the Torah absolutely forbids tattoos. that is a more important issue than rules for burial. not to mention this is to avoid the central issue.
