The harsh reality is Israel is "heavily disliked" in Egypt, by all sides of the dispute and any comment by Israeli politicians will simply create a situation that will further increase "dislike" for Israel. In this case, the BEST thing for Israelis to do is keep their mouths shut and deal with bad situation that results (there is no possibility of a "good" situation). Sometimes doing nothing is the best action.

Western democracy has three pillars: [1] human rights, [2] elected governments and [3] separation of powers (legislative, executive, judiciary). The first pillar is by far the most important. Without it, democracy is only a technical political device and will not prevent another Adolf Hitler being voted into power.
