1. throwing good money after bad

Better Place is a failed model and trying to revive it is just throwing good money after bad. Only car is the Renault which is also a small car so no good for families or people who want a stylish car. Its also not a huge saver because you have to pay to charge up same as you have to pay for gas. Only 15 charging stations in the whole country so your battery runs down when your miles away from a charging station you have a problem. Your also not allowed to keep a spare battery in the back or charge it at home for if the juice runs out before you can get to a charge station. Battery technology is still in it infancy so the idea of an electric only car at this time is just not practical. Best solution for short - mid term is Hybrid. The government should decrease import fees of hybrid cars and increase them on regular cars, you have the advantage of electric, gas when you need it and more choice. Unless these guys spend fortunes and take the company apart and build from the ground up they will be looking for buyers soon.
2. A Better Ponzi Scheme

This concept had already been rejected in California as "goofy" before it washed-up on your shores. Then your own Govt. prohibited it to be charged at home-which gave the little genius a monopoly while killing sales. When Nissan pulled out, leaving you with an overpriced under-performing Renault, it became a real joke (no offense to the French). They did fulfill their goal though, the money is now in a much"better place" in numbered foreign accounts in countries with no extradition treaties with the US or Israel. There is hope though, a silicon valley company has made a breakthrough in battery technology which could increase their power by tenfold very soon. Want to invest?
3. One of the better ways to put Israeli gas money to use

to ensure that our future generations need no gas nor oilt to freely travel ever again. Such a shame to call investment of 3 bn NIS in Israel "loss". Only self - hating people do that.
