... Says everything anyone needs to know about the United Nations Human Rights Council, doesn't it? Not to mention everything anyone needs to know about the United Nations generally .... Hell, they'd probably appoint the Congo. Seven million dead Congolese, and counting. Wouldn't the Congo be the "perfect" addition to the United Nations "Human Rights Council?" Put 'em right up there with Iran and Syria, why don't you? The absolute best thing that Israel can do is to withdraw its membership in that fraudulent excuse for an organization -- the United Nations. Frankly, who would want their country to be associated in any way with that scurrilous cabal?
2. Syria and Iran on the....... Human Rights Council?
Tim ,   Brighton   (07.11.13)
Am I dreaming? Perhaps they thought the Council was called What Human Rights! Well at least Khamenei and Assad havent lost their sense of humour

UN has lost its its credibility. Countries who play with human life are to be members of Human Rights Council??? UN is influenced from islamic lobby and islamic states, and,- the worlds leftist.. As Sotero has said, US is a nation with millions of islamics due to a high muslim birth rate and immigration, then the US will support this horrible election to this body. It is shameful to the rest of the world, and clearly shows the UN is out-dated and infected...

mike ,   nz   (07.11.13)
It would be a cruel joke . . but then again so is the United Nations
8. Why is this not surprisng?
A ,   Belgium   (07.11.13)
After all, the United Nothings have already partially recognized a state that doesn't exist, while allowing its terrorist "presidents" (who could forget Arafat pretending to play cowboy with his empty holster?) to rant and rave from its podium. Syria and Iran (and possibly China and Saudi Arabia, too) on the human rights council? Sure, why not?
