2. #1 - Seriously - real lack of local products
William ,   Israel   (07.17.13)
During a trip to UAE, I visited a "world fair" with vendors from around the world (except Israel, of course), pushing local products. I went to the Pally tent which was rather quiet - no visitors except a few curious Europeans. The only products they had were t-shirts with all of Israel wrapped in a "Palestinian" flag, and a stuffed doll of a Pally kid with a rock in his hand and kefiyeh covering his face. One stall has honey so I asked where it came from. The (honest) boy working the stall said it came from Europe. Then his father ran over and said it came from Ramallah; nothing comes from Europe. I laughed and moved on. I know BS when I hear it. Too bad Ashton doesn't.
