israel will not give up the golan. the holy city of david will remain forever an essential part of the sovereign jewish state of israel. the areas of judea-samaria which are necessary for the national security of israel will remain part of israel. nor does Israel need gen, allan to tell Israel what is needed for her security. the idf high command is much better equipped to decide Israel's security needs. the eu and obama need to understand that they do not have the legal authority to determine the borders of a sovereign nation, and any such attempt would be a violation of the un charter. they also must keep in mind that israel has a very powerful military.

Since it holds power over the Palestinians, only Israel can engage the peace process. Israel's policy has been for so many years too vague.. claiming on one side that it's supporting a two state solution and on another side keeping building and settling a military occupied territory (which is illegal according International Laws). For too long Israel has been bullying the Palestinians without giving them any rights.
