1. Well, in the state's defense...
Beautiful Haifa   (07.17.13)
As a response to the comptroller's report: In the state's defense, there is no enforcement for traffic violations, construction violations, nor illegal theft in Israel "proper" either, much less the West Bank. ;-) But I guess the Israeli people have already gotten used to the fact that the police force is worthless, the people break the rules of the road casually and often, and the oddly high level of house burglaries is a fact of life! Sickening! So, can we concentrate on improving life on one side of the Green Line before we do so for the other side, or is that too much to ask?
2. This is not news but government policy for years!
miki ,   tampa   (07.17.13)
Continue stealing land, piratical building, burning mosques, torching orchards, uprooting trees, and screaming anti-semiticism when someone objects, shriek post-Zionist if protests are heard. Boycotts are only the first step.
3. Miki - too much fluoride in the water in Florida?
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (07.17.13)
Cripes, you buy into all the pallywood propaganda hook, line and sinker! You are certainly a big fish on the Pally hook - hope you like the taste of worms. I guess when the Palestinians were torching synagogues, burning Jewish lands and cars, and blowing up Jewish buses and restaurants with people in them you were doing...just what were you doing, Miki? Cheering? Or going to Gaza to help hand out candies to celebrate? Israeli government policy is clear: Israel traded the Sinai Peninsula for peace. Jordan traded the west bank for peace (remember, Miki, there never was any country in the world called "Palestine"). Israel totally withdrew from Gaza (and no, there isn't an "Israeli blockade" - stop being totally stupid and look at the Gaza-Egypt border to see the real problem). Israeli government pollicy? It is the demand for immediate resumption of peace talks with no pre-conditions with the goal of setting up a Palestinian state. You, my dear, are just an irritating American bumpkin who couldn't care less about Palestinians. We see that clearly.
4. in settleing the west
arne ,   chicago usa   (07.17.13)
here in the u.s.it took decades for civility to take hold. the west bank will get there in due time. those that live there have chosen the hard life for the love of the land. the guy in Haifa chose a different life style.
5. "state land" jewish for Palestine
jim   (07.18.13)
6. #2 huh?
Ilan ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (07.18.13)
Do you copy and paste that statement in every talk back you post? What out does most of that stuff have to do with the article? Btw, boycott is not the first step it's like the billionth. You guys have tried every other tactic to get us to simply lie down and die, and let the pali s walk all over us. It's not gonna work being boycotted is better than annihilation any day. And lastly, you claiming we always call people who disagree with us anti semitic, is exactly like you are doing when you say that about us.
7. everyone
(07.18.13)
not surprising. has anyone looked at the conditions in any arab muslim country?????? this is what these primitives bring to israel.
8. Armed Bases
Zechariah   (07.18.13)
