John ,   Herzlia   (07.18.13)
What is the problem. Because of antisemitism Alyah from France is up 40%. Imagine that Alyah from the USA also will go up by 40%. Fantastic!
3. Key word: inappropriate
TL   (07.18.13)
Not because she is Muslim but because she is not suited for the position with her bias views. Very disappointed, my sister is an alumni.
4. No3 Why is having a different view is having a bias view?
(07.18.13)
Unic way of thinking is proper of dictatorship sir!
5. Fighting a useless battle
Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (07.18.13)
Soon enough things will become so hectic in America and around the world that this trifling story will seem like complete nonsense. Let the Muslims have their fun in America. Soon the country will be in total upheaval. Police State already exists. Snowden proved that. Martial law nationwide will be declared when the economy and the dollar tanks. One silly Arab student in Berkley won't matter in the least.
6. After Obama...THIS is shocking/news/surprising?!!?
tom ,   tel aviv   (07.18.13)
It should be obvious by now, that we cannot change the spots of the leopard or save the world from itself. We should at least give them a good fight, before everything goes out the window.... Those that are religious, are welcome to pray to the Shoa Enabler in the Skies.
7. #4 because it IS biased.
solomon ,   bklyn   (07.18.13)

9. misleading title: unsuitable because of hers priors and bia
trump   (07.18.13)
NOTHING to do with her faith,I hope.......
10. Not suitable because she is involved with BDS
Jacob E ,   Holon, Israel   (07.18.13)
Not because she is a muslim. And to #4, it is not about having a bias or a different view, it is about having a prejudicial adjenda. Additionally serving on a judicial board means you have to minimize and act without bias. Bringing someone with a specific and strong bias to such a position is exact opposite of what should be as the job requirements.
11. R American Jewish Groups Really this insecure?!
Sally Forth ,   Israel   (07.18.13)
Ma'HaKeta (what's the issue). She has the right to her views and I have the right to disagree with her. But to say she's unsuitable just because I don't agree with her? No, never. She's got every right to be there. And we all have every right to disagree with her. In other words: American Jewish Groups get over your self centered whinging, whiny selves. Next.
12. Gosh!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.18.13)
I hope Sadia remembers to look both ways before she crosses the street ..... That aside, the University of California system may well just be the most corrupt and academically inadequate body in the United States. So, all in all, who cares? Not I.
13. #1
Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (07.18.13)
Why congratulations? because she is against Israel. Go back to your cave
14. Her major
BK ,   USA   (07.18.13)
Social Welfare. That probably says a lot. But no disparage meant to her field of study, which must be as demanding and as useful as teaching pet goldfish to ride bicycles.
15. :-) Islamic followers...
Beary white ,   Norway   (07.18.13)
..will always continue the blame the rest of the world, calling them infidels. So, it is very sad this young girl believe in what the islmaic cult is based on. Even HA is better to believe in than supporting islam, who were fighting on the nazi side during ww2.
16. to #11 the problem will raise when Israelies

Tom W ,   USA   (07.18.13)
Open your eyes to the reality: only the blacks and Jews supported him overwhelmingly in both election, 80-99% went for him. Even today the Jewish owned press (N.Y.Times' Shulzberger), Hollywood Jewry, Soros group's billionaires etc. sing daily accolades to the consternation of half of America. Without Jewish money, propaganda and overall support Obama would have remained an unknown street organizer in Chicago. Wise up Sir, and contemplate.
20. benny boy

If you live in the US you are f'd. consider yourself warned.
21. @16 what do u mean "when"? its already happening.
Israel ,   Israel   (07.18.13)
we are the world's pariah or don't you know it. You can thank Mr. Netanyahu and his policies for that. Your TB is out of touch with reality.
22. #6 good one!
old timer ,   USA   (07.18.13)
Ask Sarah B. about the old days when there were quotas for Jews at all USA universities, medical schools and law schools. Why don't you look up what happened when Erwin Land (the inventor of the Polaroid-Land Camera) told Henry Ford (of the Ford Corporation) that he Land was Jewish. Do you really think that one little Muslim girl is going to do worse to us than all the other anti-Semites across history have already done? Really now don't be so silly. I agree with TBer 11 (Sally Forth) she's got the spin on this thing.
23. oops my tb @22 was meant for TB#16 sorry

24. It's called "inclusiveness"
David ,   Sf-usa   (07.18.13)
By bringing a perceived "enemy" into the "fold" you disarm them. Soon, they find out nobody cares about their personal Religous views and that people she was taught to hate can really be nice to work with. If she starts trouble by making bigoted or racist remarks-we'll just throw her out. This is California, her Religous views are a personal matter-we don't want to hear them and we don't worry about any religion forcing us to accept their beliefs-because we're armed. If, instead of being Muslim, she practiced Witchcraft or said she was a pagan (atheist or communist) , she would receive just as much consideration for the position because she will never be asked that question on her application form. This is a Democracy not a hypocrisy. She has been given a respected position and the duties of that position require she treats other members with respect (even if she personally despises their beliefs). It might sound "crazy" to you middle easterners but that's the way it works here. There are probably 40 nationalities and a dozen religions just in my own neighborhood. We have to get along.
25. disgusting #12 threatening a persons life
(07.18.13)
26. @25 yes & ynet doesn't see that as incitment
(07.18.13)
amazing isn't it how ynet constantly puts up this woman's garbage. They do it for the sensation of it. Someone should sue them.
27. The Only Satisfactory Answer
Dan ,   USA   (07.18.13)
The only way Israel could ever satisfy the liberal left in America, which by the way is filled with self loathing eletist Jews, is to march every Israeli into a gas chamber and then give the country over to Muslims. Even if Israel were to return to 1967 boarders tomorrow it would not satisfy the far left.
28. @26 And others worship her?!
(07.18.13)
What's more disgusting is the fan base this racist unfortunate has developed.
29. What's the problem??
Broklyin ,   USA   (07.19.13)
What's the problem with you guys, everyone has right to vote someone they like! SICK!! Congratulation Ms. Saida
