Anyone expecting anything other than a replay of the last set of "negotiations" had better plan on new elections in the PA, with the proviso that the elected government, no matter who it is, has the power to negotiate and reach an agreement with Israel during their term of office. If Hamas is elected, and continues to refuse to negotiate, then the world will no longer be able to blame Israel for the lack of peace. Israel's government should refuse to hold ANY negotiations before the PA holds elections and there is a clear view of who exactly is in charge of the PA.
