The level of excellency Israeli companies and institutions have reached came from the strong cooperation with Europe and the US. Just google any curricula vitae of Israeli scientist or academic and you will confirm that. NONE of them have managed knowledge and expertise isolately. This is impossible nowadays. You need articles to be published, critics and open debate. That's how you perfect your invention or discovery. The Government of Israel knows that and this is the reason they are so desperate imploring Europeans government to find formulas to avoid a bigger rift with Europe. Israelis should thank Europe for not not boycotting the Government as a whole.
