"negotiations for the sake of negotiations, going round in a vicious circle". This works for persian arabs and Their SECRET NUCLEAR WEAPONS PROGRAM!!! Then it's good enough for Pals!
2. Palestinians oppose Arab Initiative
Sam ,   Canada   (07.21.13)
The Arab League should get its own house in order. The Arab Initiative says that the refugee solution must be acceptable to Israel. Israel rejects the right of return. Palestinians demand it. That makes the Arab Initiative useless. The Arabs don't have a clue as to what they are doing but they are impatient that things move forward.

Idiot! Persians aren't Arabs and Arabs aren't Persians. Please educate your self before commenting. Regarding the talks.... It would be an amazing day if peace will come to our region. But i do not believe it'll ever become true. Arabs and israelis are too stubborn and they are not willing to move on. So it's all useless. Nobody is going to compromise.
4. Arab league doesn't waste a second
the mad zionist ,   San Francisco   (07.21.13)
to be bias. they conveniently leave out the fact that the Palestinians walked away from 3 peace offers, while Israel has never received 1 in return from the Palestinians. and by the way it's been the Israelis begging for negotiations, notthe Palestinians, So to be suspect of Israel is completely bias, and I see where this is going again. the Palestinians will walk away again but the Arab league will publicly blame Israel for its failure and the Obama administration won't ever open its mouth if the Palestinians f this up. but if the Israelis screw it up, the Obama administration will be right on top of it publicly since its not politically incorrect to call the Jews out, only the Muslims. until the Palestinians are called out for their lies and deceit, peace will never be reached. I just find it amazing that the Palestinians have rejected peace everytime Israel offered almost everything they wanted, but the world never calls them out on it. such bs
5. Arab League Idiots
Brod ,   USA   (07.21.13)
They are a bunch of idiots. The world should stop making a mountain out of nothing. It is time to keep the savages in its own cesspool of hate and killing.
6. What is the real motive behind these talks?
Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (07.21.13)
Who is really driving these forced negotiations and why? Who is behind the Obama administration? The Palis have a relatively autonomous govt in their towns when they are not plotting terror or causing mayhem, that is not enough. They want what is not theirs to begin with. We will see what happens when the world continues to back us against the wall. There are clearly stated Prophecies for this time and they are all coming to light for those that have eyes to see them.
7. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT LINE - "PEACE IN OUR TIMES"
stude ham   (07.21.13)
If the US government cannot handle murderers being set free by their courts... what then can be expected from them in the ME? Beware of the Kerry's bearing 'gifts'.
8. Freeze baby, freeze
Muna - Doha   (07.21.13)
Netanyahu will have a hard time convincing the right wing about peace. And I don't doubt fanatics will try to kill him. The right in Israel has gone too far.. The country will now enter a period of huge turbulance.. but this is Israel's problems. What they have to do now is set borders and leave the Palestinians live their lives.
9. #4, israel has never
elke ,   usa   (07.21.13)
put a peace plan on the table. Cite your sources to the contrary (you can't). Israel also has never defined borders other than the ones announced in 1948. The world calls Israel out because it has failed to live up to a single one of its treaties or agreements. It doesn't even uphold the principles of its own declaration of independence.

it's that simple.
13. Peres to Obama If you give me a medal I will be your servant
The gelt connection ,   via Ramalla   (07.22.13)
actually he would have done it for nothing.... Making money off business deals with Abbas was incentive enough.
14. The Palestinians Are Not Seeking Peace With The Pygmies
Tim Upham ,   Tum Tum, WA   (07.22.13)
Sorry, Israeli intentions are going to have to be taken into consideration. Because the Palestinians are seeking peace with israel, not with the Pygmies.

"This works for persian arabs and Their SECRET NUCLEAR WEAPONS PROGRAM!!!." Persian people are Persians by ethnicity who speak the Persian language and descend from the ancient Persian civilisation of Iran that is over 6000 years old. Just because Persians are Muslims it does not make them Arabs, there are also many Christian Arabs along with Muslim Arabs, the majority of Arabs adhere to Islam with a significant minority adhering to Christianity. Actually bother to learn something about the middle east and its people before you make silly comments that make no intellectual sense whatsoever.
16. The "peace" talks will end before they even begin,
A ,   Belgium   (07.22.13)
because the non-existant "palestinians" have yet to decide which terrorist organization represents them. Is it Hamas or Fatah? Abbas or Haniyeh? Is the "palestinian" state to be the arab occupied Israeli lands of Judah and Samaria, or Gaza? Maybe the "palestinians" should decide who they really are before decalring that they are a "people", and demanding statehood.

taba agreements from barak to arafat with clinton in 2000-2001 whereby the pals would have gotten east jerusalem, 97% of the west bank and the entirety of gaza. arafat said no! read clinton;s memoir!!!!!!!! olmert's talks with abbas in 2006-2008 where olmert showed abbas a map of future borders, giving abbas everything he wanted; east jerusalem, borders on 67 armistice line, 97% of the west bank and all of gaza. he asked abbas to sign. abbas said he will take the offer and show it to the plo and pa. he never got back to olmert!!!!!!! not to mention that in 1947, the league of nation separated what is now all of israel, including the territories into two states. one for jews, the other for arabs. arabs refused and 7 armies went to war against the new state of the jews. the jews accepted, the arabs rejected and so they attacked israel and LOST!

What about the 97%of the WB and all of Gaza that Clinton and Barak Offered in 2000? What about Olmerts offer of 98% of the WB in 2008?(Gaza was given to the Palestinians in 2006). All rejected by Arafat and Abbas. Learn a bit of history please.

elke, your ignorance and lack of knowledge is scary and very troubling. you have no clue at all what you are talking about. even as an iranian muslim i know that israel has offered the palestinians, both arafat and abbas, on three different occasions a peace plan EXACTLY SIMIAR TO WHAT ABBAS NOW WANTS BUT REFUSED WHEN MR. OLMERT WAS PRIME MINISTER OF ISRAEL. you have zero clue and understanding of historical events. sadly. hameed aboughaze, iranian los angeles
