Persian people are Persians by ethnicity who speak the Persian language and descend from the ancient Persian civilisation of Iran that is over 6000 years old. Just because Persians are Muslims it does not make them Arabs, there are also many Christian Arabs along with Muslim Arabs, the majority of Arabs adhere to Islam with a significant minority adhering to Christianity.
