1. Even Demographic Distribution
Zechariah   (07.22.13)
At present between the sea and the river are six million Jews and six million Arabs close to so on a status quo it's one land for two people with the Jews Controlling Security because there are a Billion Plus Islamists strongly against a Jewish State in a claimed Islamic area Armed and Belligerant.Reality indicates it ought stay Status quo but Peace Talks ought be Resumed to improve both people's security autonomy and Relative Well Being.
2. Pals want state over West Bank AND Israel
Sam ,   Canada   (07.22.13)
The Palestinians including Hamas will take a state for now on the 1967 borders because that includes Jerusalem. Then they want a more vulnerable Israel through force or a right of return. Nowhere have Palestinians said that they will accept a Jewish majority Israel for the long term.
3. Lots of lies in this article !
Yisrael ,   Jerusalem, ISRAEL   (07.22.13)
1) "The Palestinians have not objected to demilitarization or to Israeli control over the airspace" They have refused to accept this many times. 2) "However, in talks with Olmert, Abbas did not reject the possibility that the Old City and its immediate surroundings be under international supervision, and not under either sides' sovereignty." Not at all true. 3)"Palestinian negotiators have signaled in the past that they would accept "a just and agreed-upon" solution for refugees as laid out in a UN resolution that mentions compensation for those who settle elsewhere." Never happened. 4)"Abbas, born in Safed, is himself a refugee, and has admitted this year that he has realized that he will not return to his family home in the northern city.". Later recanted, saying he never meant to indicate he gave up any right of return. Typical of Reuters to massage the truth to fit their agenda !
4. Abbas must go to ICC, seek war reparations, stop settlements
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (07.22.13)
5. Abbas must go to hell....not to ICC
joe ,   Canada   (07.22.13)
6. where to start?
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (07.22.13)
So full of errors, who is supposed to read this? The article writes "The Palestinians want to create an independent state in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, with Arab east Jerusalem as their capital". The only people who want this solution are Jewish Israeli Leftists. Not one Arab leader has ever suggested this solution. The two largest Arab organizations, Hamas and PLO are constitutionally dedicated to rejecting this solution (see Article 11 of Hamas Charter and article 1 and 2 of PLO Charter)
7. OK for Israel to bomb Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, and now Iran?
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (07.23.13)
Is that no terror also?
8. Israel should look forward to I.C.C. battle.
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.23.13)
Israel's legal ownership is so legally indisputable that even the P.A. won't debate it. MK Danny Ayalon challenged it to do so. It is true that the I.C.C. could issue a politically motivated condemnation of Israel. Just like the despicable U.N. condemnations of Israel. However, there are countless world class international lawyers who would tear the I.C.C. into tiny little pieces if it did so. The I.C.C. would lose all its credibility forever. Rather than fearing the I.C.C., Israel should look forward to proving our ownership of Judea and Samaria to the world.

800.000 to 1 million jews expelled from all arab and muslim lands after israel was born should go to the icc, seek reparation and get back all their assets that the thieving arab governments stole from them all. now, let's talk. because those close to million jews that lived in muslim countries even before the birth of islam were persecuted, murdered, denigraded and eventualy stolen from and expelled....many thousands more than the so called arab that ran away from israel during 1948. those that stayed became full fledged citizens of israel. we want compensation for them too.
10. International Forces Jordan Valley
Zechariah   (07.23.13)
No Reason an International Force of Israeli United States NATO and Jordanian Forces could not be on the Jordan Valley to Protect the Holy Land for Jew Arab and Internationals.
11. Has Abbas ever apologized for the Munich Olympics?
Devorah   (07.22.13)
Then why are we negotiating with him.
12. Failure even before talks start
Shmuel ,   Anaheim, CA   (07.23.13)
Why is Kerry trying to repeat the failures of Olmert, Barak, Rabin, etc? The obstacles to an agreement are well known - borders, Jerusalem and "refugees" among them. So unless Kerry has managed to get the fakestinians to drop their maximalist demands and agree to compromise, there's no chance of success. So, again, why even start?
13. I see dead people....No way there is not
NATAN ,   ISRAEL   (07.23.13)
Posible a pacific solution, even if Abass and Bibi want, Is imposible, the chance of Israel desapear as a jewish state is closer and closer day by day. So if we lose we will lose figting. Never again with the arms down.
14. DOING THE SAME THING.......
ALAN ,   USA   (07.23.13)
OVER AND OVER AGAIN THINKING THAT SOMETHING WILL CHANGE IS INSANITY.
15. "Demilitarized Palestinian state" insults human intelligence
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.23.13)
Actually, the idea of a "demilitarized Palestinian state" insults the intelligence of mammals much lower than humans. The P.A. is highly militarized right now. If Israel is lunatic enough to allow them to create a hostile state on our land; who is going to demilitarize it? Who is going to go door to door collecting weapons from all the terrorists? It is obvious what would happen. The new terror state would be filled with every form of destructive weaponry conceivable. It would use them all on Israel.

Rau   (07.23.13)
Has any Israeli ever apologized for the Shabra and Shatilla?
17. #8 the facts speak for themselves
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (07.23.13)
Chaim, if Israel could prove it owned the occupied WB territories then it would have done so long ago. Sorry to disillusion you but you could rip out my tongue, sew my lips together cut off my hands and remove my brain and I would still easily defeat Dani Ayalon's arguments before any court of international law. That's because the facts speak for themselves. The settlements are illegal. Lets hope the negotiations go well. As much as I do not like Bibi, I do not want to see Israel dishonored by having its leader convicted as a war criminal.
18. #16 - Rau
Devorah   (07.23.13)
Perhaps if the PLO had not repeatedly violated the 1981 cease-fire agreement, Sabra and Shatilla would not have happened. In terms of apologies, you would have to ask the Phalangists. No apology necessary from Israel.
19. No. 16 Keep the lies for yourself. Sabra and Shatilla ...
Ari ,   Jerusalem   (07.23.13)
Was the product of Christian militias def up with all the atrocities perpetrated in Lebanon by Palestinians, who turned Lebanon from the Switzerland of the ME to a land of guerillas. Those who have paid the outmost Price have been the Christians. who partly have abandoned their land pressed by the extreme Muslims. Like in Bethlehem, Nazareth. Irak, Nigeria Egypt and so on. "Every thing "what happens in the ME is Israel's "Fault". Keep believing your lies. Arabs hate each other's guts the only thing that unites them is the hate for Israel. This hate will be their destruction. The prophesies are becoming true. Israel is acquiring it´s grandeur and the Magog is destroying Gog and vice versa. All the Arab Israeli wars have not even killed half of those killed in the civil war in Syria not to count the dead in Irak, Afghanistan, Pakistan., Egypt, Nigeria etc Plus the natural disasters to Muslim countries who want the destruction of the Jews and Israel. The Hand of Hashem for sure is somewhere around here.
