31. And thus.....
MBH ,   Palm Beach, USA   (07.24.13)
The Time of Jacob's Trouble is setting up nicely. G-D and Israel wins. Israel gets shalom. Not lounge chair peace, but by destroying it's enemies with the strength of the Lord.
32. Bottom Line - Make and Implement an Agreement
Mark of Lewiston ,   USA   (07.24.13)
Once an Agreement with the Palestinians is made that sets borders and sovereignty agreements in writing, Palestinians and the world will recognize that part of Jerusalem that is in Israel as being in Israel. Learn how to negotiate compromises and share. Illinois and Missouri share St Louis, one city in two states. Same with Kansas City.

Wow - you just proved #16's point
34. Just Sayin' 26

Since you are very convinced you understand the transcripts and U.S. constitutional law, please tell us what the holding of "United States v. Nixon" was. Hey, just sayin'
35. @33 now see that's y I "love" u Dah!mericans so much!
Just Sayin' 26 ,   Israel   (07.24.13)
All y'all can NOT take criticism nor have anyone especially a FER-eigner disagree with you. That's for giving me a good laugh.
36. @34 Mr. Nixon saved our a$$es in 1973
Just Sayin' 26 ,   Israel   (07.24.13)
by sending fuel for our planes during that war. I am really sorry that it meant that you in the USA had to take an oil embargo from the Arabs that winter. Still, Mr. Nixon was a friend (both in the religious Quaker sense as well as in the real sense of the word) to Israel. That said about the case you ask, I believe The USA Supreme Court rejected Nixon's claim to "an absolute, unqualified Presidential privilege of immunity from judicial process under all circumstances." Is that good enough for you.
37. Bill at No. 2 is entirely correct
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.24.13)
This has nothing to do with Israel, the Jewish people or Jerusalem. This case is headed for the U.S. Supreme Court. It's a question of the powers of the executive versus the powers of the legislature. Frankly, it does not look very good for the executive. Truman and Nixon learned the hard way that the Supreme Court works rather assiduously to curb the powers of the executive. This will be no exception. In the long run, it scarcely matters. My children's U.S. passports say they were born in Jerusalem. My children's Israeli passports say they were born in Israel. Possession being nine-tenths of the law, it wouldn't matter if the ersatz "Palestinians" name Washington D.C. as the capital of their fictitious state. They are as likely to gain control of Jerusalem as they are of gaining control of Washington D.C. In fact, their persistence in the attempt could very well see them deported from the State of Israel. Sooner or later, Israel will have had enough. Save some crazy lefties in my town of Saviyyon and some crazy Satmer and Neturei Karta, you'll be hard pressed to find many Israelis who are willing to cede a single centimeter of Jerusalem. Wars have to count for something. Especially six wars launched through Arab aggression. This isn't a thorny issue. Just a deliberately-timed contentious one. Either way, Israel wins. No one's dislodging us from our eternal capital. No one.
38. What about Jerusalem, Palestine?
Orly ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (07.24.13)
That was around before 1948, is that still okay? ('Cause If not Judea or Israel it's gotta be in Palestine, right?)
39. @37 go learn some new words ur old ones r overused.
Israel ,   Israel   (07.24.13)
alternatively get off of your high horse its stuck on a treadmill going no where very fast. and one last bit of advice: since Saviyyon is such a foul evil place for you my suggestion go move to Bumm Fcuk Egypt they'll take real good care of you there.

very well said. every time obama and the eu attack us, they push me further to the right. i started out as a supporter of a two=state solution, some time ago, but now i reject it categorically. i would still be willing to give up some parts of judea-samaria under certain circumstances, but certainly not the high grounds or area c. i am sick to death of the arabs, obama and the europeans.
42. Zechariah 12:2-3
brian   (07.24.13)
2 “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. 3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations.
43. Us Court Invalidates passport law
Orly ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (07.24.13)
This shows the hypocrisy of the establishment in the United States and their President, so called friends of Israel. One more reason for the Israeli people to take care of their security and interests, without counting on such "friends". How many Presidents of the United States promised to move their embassy to Jerusalem before elections? Could the Israelis decide that New York would be the capital of the United States instead of Washington? Why do Your Presidents, Congressmen, Senators and ambassadors, past and present, visit the Israeli Presidents, Prime Ministers, the Knesset, if they do not recognise Jerusalem as its Capital? Now, Foreign Secretary Kerry promises the Palestinians that the peace agreement will be based on 1967 borders, when the Prime Minister has refused preconditions and to deal on these premises and duress. Then our so called "friends" will force us into an agreement that will put us in danger as a Nation. The policies of your government make me sick and I love your country and people. I just wish the Israeli people would go out and demonstrate opposite your Embassy in Tel Aviv, Consulate in Jerusalem, and also opposite your Ambassador Shapiro's house in Herzliya. This would bring back our self respect.
