1. how do the US reach the conclusion it was not a coup?

Morsi is elected Morsi serves as president for a year although he is not real popular amongst the army who he took powers they appointed themselves during their time as caretaker government. There are mass protests with people calling on Morsi to resign for the most part the people feel he has not delivered the goods on solving the economic problems. Army arrests Morsi, takes control of the country and then appoints a new civilian government of their own choosing to replace Morsi. How can this not be a coup? The US is selective when it comes to deciding if a coup has taken place withe decision being based on if they prefer he successor or not. The US never liked Morsi but he was elected so they had to deal with him, the army gets rid of him and instals a non MB government which the US prefer so judgement is no coup has taken place so aid and diplomatic relations can continue as if nothing happened.

If the U.S. can decide Obama is a Christian born in Hawaii when in the past he has been recorded as saying he is a Muslim born in Kenya then they can decide anything. These days if our government speaks the truth it's probably just a slip of the tongue and not what they really wanted to say.
3. 1 zionist forever: It is not a coup because the military
Rivkah   (07.27.13)
did not set themselves up as dictators but installed a civilian interim government until elections can be held. If a military officer had declared himself dictator, then it would have been a coup. What the military did was to remove a scoundrel and criminal from office which is what should be done in the USA.
