Would Diskin please explain how "peace talks" with the P.A. can help Israel? Oslo "peace talks" resulted in thousands of Israeli citizens being maimed and murdered. How did that help Israel? Moreover, the "peace talks" are intended to turn Israel into a defenseless 9 mile wide concentration camp. How could that help Israel?

My opinion Israelis need to be told the truth and fast. This Peace Process is more dangerous than a nucular armed Iran. Withdrawing back to the settlement bloc borders will cause a binational state within 5 years and is undefenseable. Area C is the holy Grail of Israel's security religious and legal claims in Judea and Samaria. If Bibi gives up areas of Area C his Goverment will be finished and there will be whole sale revolt within the Likud party who will bolt the party and more than likely join Jewish Home just as Kadima left Likud. Bibi will be out of a job and Naftali Bennett will win the next election. The Israeli people will never accept wholesale surrender of Israeli Legal Security and religious rights. Israelis will never allow Israel to go back to the 67 borders with millions of Palestinians within walking distance of Tel Aviv and the Mediterranean Sea. No more compromise. Annex Area C and low populated areas of Area B to streignten border have the Arab residents remain as permanent residents but PA or Jordanian citizens.

That Israel won a war waged by 5 neighbours whose sole aim was not altering borders or armistice lines, but the total destruction of the State. The people who inhabitated the land now referred to as the Occupied WBank were first under Turkish Rule, Then British Rule under the Mandate and then Jordanian Rule between 1948 and 1967. They were never self governing. I suspect most Jewish Israeli's, and the Jewish Diaspora would be only to happy to rid themselves of occupying this area of land and its Palestinian inhabitants. I do not believe a smaller, geographically narrower central Israel would be at greater risk. But I leave that to the IDF and others who know better
