32. So true
Sarah ,   Rehovot   (08.01.13)
I just got back from five wonderful weeks away from this country. I was all over Europe visiting friends. It was great except for the fact that in mostly every country I had to deal with typical Israelis. From hogging the sidewalk, t littering and basically always screaming, the typical Israeli behavior is almost always embarrassing. My friend in the countryside of Slovenia told me that they are "not good guests." My good friends who are all non-Jewish, were shocked at their behavior. I let them know that this is typical....both inside and out of israel, Israelis act like.spoiled, uncouth children. Respect is non existent. I just wish that they could get their act together as they are truly ambassadors of the State.

Actually, I made friends with many Israeli tourists and they were all amazing. I sometimes talk about them as examples of how to enjoy life and traveling and being positive and productive. I learnt so much about their culture and we talked about our countries, we are still friends online.
34. ISRAELI'S ACT LIKE ANIMALS ABROAD
Netanya ,   Netanya   (08.01.13)
The Israelis are very rude abroad and even in Israel. When I first came to Israel to live I was a tourist and worked illegally cleaning. After a weekend, a room that had only a few Israelis looked like it had 40 filthy, uneducated, barbarians. Trash everywhere in the room, not even throwing it into the bin, everything all over, broken things, etc. This was normal and nobody thought anything was wrong with it. I had never seen anything like it! The Israelis who go to live in the USA are the worse though by far. They make all Americans hate Israelis and Jews. They cheat and lie, do anything to make money, they make their workers into slaves (if they own businesses), they;are selfish and create antisemitism. Time to educate Israelis on travel etiquette and how to behave in other countries, if moving there. I wish USA would crack down on the Israelis there, since they have nothing to add to the society due to their actions.

It says "Limor loves Shalom, Israel-Haifa". Shalom is "peace" but also a male name. Not only is the Berliner Wall the most graffiti covered structure in the world but on the right side I see another writing which is not in Hebrew, so Limor may be not the only one "striking" in Germany.

non-existent home education. It is the responsibility of school, where children spend more time than at home,to care for their education.which is at least as important than science study.
37. Isrealis abroad to be ashamed of
Sam ,   Belgium   (08.02.13)
Yes there is what to be ashamed how the act.. Funny thing is .. It's not Haredim this time but secluer Israelis since the Haredim hacpve no money to travel abroad
38. No, Haredim really do not how to behave - that is hysterical
Sara ,   Haifa   (08.14.13)
Well it would be, if it wasn't so sad. Just very pleased they have no money to travel, as judging by their behaviour here, they would be even more disgusting. Having been many trips to "the Nature" as they say here, I have on far too many occasions, watched as, after a picnic/bbq in Horshatal, The Sachne, Park Hayarkon, around the Kinneret - they simply pick themselves up, and just leave. Leaving behind them all the rubbish, nappies, mess, bottles, without even a backward look.
39. Yeah, sorry sara
Ilan ,   Ramat Gan   (08.15.13)
it's not the haridim! its sabra israelis in general! The worst part about it, is that you are oblivious to it because you think its normal behaviour! i am an Oleh, so believe me i have reference for comparison! and i don't mean you as in you specifically.

41. What about Israeli behavior at home?
David ,   Israel   (08.27.13)
They usually blame the kids for bad behavior but have a look that the way the parents behave on the road, shopping malls and supermarkets! Actually, the Chinese tourists are rated as the worst with the British and Americans also coming off very badly. With a worldwide decline in behavioral standards I think singling out Israelis is something we were taught years ago: "Jews should no better". Maybe Europeans do behave better but this certainly doesn't apply at football matches where racism and hatred seems to rule. I all societies there are the good and the bad but we only seem to remember the bad!
42. And what about the behaviors/quirks of other nationalities?
Rhonda ,   Chicago, USA   (09.07.13)
When I was in Israel for the first time, my stay was 3.5 weeks. I didn't encounter the negative behaviors described here. I saw one thing - a guy dodging morning rush hour traffic in Tel Aviv by jumping his motorcycle from the street up onto the sidewalk. He saw me, extended his arm out in some gesture as if to protect me, smiled sheepishly and then took off down the sidewalk. I laughed. I turned to a woman who was standing nearby and said, "did you see that? Do they always do that? " She replied, "not if the police are around." I saw other antics like this which always made me laugh at what I considered the "personality" of the culture. I loved it there, was charmed by the quirks of these sorts of situations. On my second trip, I stayed at a high end hotel...the staff behaved like what you would encounter in the States. The people in restaurants, on the street were like people anywhere.

jill ,   jerusalem   (02.27.14)
I live in Israel and have travelled a lot. The problem is that the Israelis who behave badly stand out as Israelis, but the nationality of the at least equal number of perfectly well-mannered Israelis is often not noted. Also the problem is not restricted to Israelis, e.g. the British in Spain are a total nightmare for the locals. I had Brazilian neighbours in London who were a nightmare for me, loud parties until the early hours of the morning. I nearly lost my job because of them. I really don't think that bad behaviour is the domain of just one nationality. But, as Israelis and Jews we are judged both collectively and more harshly than others. And I have encountered a lot of anti-semitism in my travels, some of it overt, but often, unwitting, along the lines of "you're Israeli/Jewish, but you're nice".
