stay without going to five hotels in Tel Aviv only to be turned away since most hotels don't want them to stay there since a woman travelling without her husband or who is single is seen as a harlot by Israeli hotel managers if they are not in a tour group. The over active imaginations of hotel managers or desk clerks in Israel is offensive.

i don't know which hotels you went to but as someone who regularly travels alone on business in israel, never have i been treated offensively or differently, and neither have any of my friends/ colleagues. please don't generalize just because of your specific case, it just makes you look bad.

This should have been built years ago.
