Maybe Mr. Ambassador hasn't noticed but Egypt doesn't have the same scruples as Israel and finished the problem of the tunnels by putting them under water. Furthermore they closed the borders with Gaza for a reason and now Israel should pick up the check and let these Hamasniks roam the streets of Israel to do business and blow up a few Israeli's? Mr. Gould's pleas sound very much like those we hear from Mrs. Jew hater Ashton, in which she pleads to open the borders between Israel & Gaza. Well, they do come from the same country, a country that is the no.1 in calling for and initiating boycotts, inciting hatred & spreading nonstop lies against Israel. Well, the borders are just fine and if they want open borders and have a ''normal lifestyle, these ''legitimate business people should start a little Gaza Spring to get rid of the Hamas shackles and stop complaining about Israel. Maybe Mr. Gould hasn't noticed another thing....., nobody gives a sh.. about Gaza, except some Europeans!
2. End ALL lunatic Israeli support for Fictional Palestine.
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.29.13)
There is no excuse for the historically unprecedented lunacy of the Israeli government. No other state has ever had a government dumb enough to support its own ememies!! What kind of idiots are we dealing with? End ALL obscene Israeli support for evil Fictional Palestine NOW!

And who would take credit for such a thing Mr. Ambassador? Why Hamas of course. I am surprised that your country does not only speak German considering how the UK and the rest of the world has no concept (including Israel) that you do not REWARD your ENEMY. You do not give concessions to your enemy. Or electricity. Or food. The only thing that you SHOULD give your enemy is such a beating that he will never raise his hand against you again.

And I quote "Britain has already said we will do everything we can to help the parties find a route to peace". You are a liar, and a repeater of lies. Britain does not give a damn about peace for Israel. There will never be peace as long as Israel exists, and that will be forever! So, stop the dreamy eyed lies about a peace that will never happen until Meshiach puts an end to all who curse Israel. The pa and all muslim the world over are trying to destroy Israel, that's the truth. A few miles of land now, then, next year a few more miles, and so on or else there will be intifada... Get it? You and people like you can call them a-rabs all you want to sugarcoat their identity, but they are muslim, and their book says kill the jews. If the truth hurts, too bad.
5. Matthew Gould, what about Malvinas from Argentina.

6. Could be that mr M-Gould only reads....
Beary White ,   Norway   (07.30.13)
.. leftist news reports, like Asthons horse... Because of the missing information of the real story, then their actions and suggestions abouth the situation are way off. The leftist newspapers and state-contorolled media here in Norway presents information in the same biased way, colorizing it as the pals are the victims because of Israel, not because they are used as scapegoats for the islamic followers/arab contries. And as Matthew Gouls did NOT say directly ; remove hamass and abu mazen, then work can start. Jordan is the perfect country for the pals, and Israel will have no problem to organize the transport from the strip into Jordan.
7. When the EU stops funding the Muslim Brotherhood
(07.30.13)
then they can start talking about "enriching Hamas' allies". Hypocrites!
8. What about just over the other border(s)??
Brett L ,   JHB RSA   (07.30.13)
Egypt is broke, Syria is in a complete shambles and so it goes accross the entire world. Yet somehow the poor palastinians are the worst off! Whats the unemployment rate in Spain?? This pity is more a hate for Israel then a humanitarian shout for help for the pails. The only reason Israel has any trouble is because of europe and their deep desire to have the arabs finish what hitler didn't. A sort of proxy if you like!!
9. Enriching Hamas
Ali ,   Palestine   (07.30.13)
A brave voice from UK .
10. Some very strange talkbacks and none
Shachar ,   Eilat   (07.30.13)
of them address the point he is making. So lets ignore the right-wing rantings and address the point. Israel's long-held policy is to use the trade connection as a carrot and stick. There is quiet, the border opens, there are attacks the border closes. It sounds reasonable but Hamas ideology is built on suffering. The more the people suffer the stronger Hamas is. Gaza residents voted for Hamas by a large majority. Israel has no reason to take any part in Hamas games or the internal problems of Gazans. So here I agree with the right. The border should be sealed just as all borders between enemies are sealed.
11. Whats Hamas WONT TELL YOU
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (07.30.13)
Tunnel revenues to Hamas Elite at an all time low Water shortages ACUTE Property bubble about to - not burst - but explode Business trade and confidence at an all time low Health Education and Social Services at breaking point As for freedom of expression and the rule of law - you can forget it But WORST of all - the growing gap between the rich and poor - Where in Gaza there are MORE MILLIONAIRES per head of population than France! The solution - STOP THE STATE OF WAR with Israel so the blockade can be removed, the Tunnel Economy stopped and new elections held Remember every Gazan KNOWS that the State of War is cynically perpetuated so that the VAST Tunnel Revenues can continue to line the pockets of the Hamas Elite - but is THAT the way to run Gaza for Gazans? NO
12. I have one message ....
Mike ,   NZ   (07.30.13)
The U.K. and the E.U. should keep out of the negotiations. They have blown their chance for some of the glory should peace break out !! They cannot be considered neutral. Their past history shows them up for what they are !! They should now enjoy their close relationship with those who support terror !!!
13. An why can't Hamas just 'tax' them ??
Ron ,   Melbourne, Australia   (07.30.13)
14. A much better idea.
michael ,   israel   (07.30.13)
I have a better idea. Why doesn't Egypt open up its borders providing open trade with the terrorists in Gaza. Second, Egypt should not only allow free trade with the Gazan terrorists but also allow the Gazans, who by the way are arabs, to relocate, repatriate themselves to Egypt. This will eliminate the problem that Gaza presents to the world and israel. Meantime why should Gould live in Israel, enjoying the good life? Gould should permanently move to Gaza and help the Gazans build up their economy and relocate to Egypt.
