Gregg Bowman ,   Parksville, Canada   (07.31.13)
You are absolutely delusional if you think that you can negotiate any peace with the Palestinians. Delusional! warm regards, Gregg Bowman
2. Photo op, nothing more
josh ,   Alexandria, USA   (07.31.13)
This clueless diva has no sense of reality. Why is she still in politics? She is doomed for failure like always.
3. NO JORDAN OR EGYPT, THEN NO PEACE
Iranian Jew ,   LA   (07.31.13)
These are all stupid shows and waste of time. The real issues are Gaza, Egypt and Jordan. They have created this charade so they need to ended as well. Livni has no real vision for this. Smiles are not going to create peace here. Gaza will keep sending rockets and will not agree to any deal anyway. So what is the point of negotiating with a unit that has no power anyway. Ham Ass can wipe WB in one day if they want to. She needs to bring Jordan and Egypt to the table and negotiate then.
4. Tzipi the parakeet will screw it up
ZIMBI ,   NJUSA   (07.31.13)
5. What about the release of 104 terrorists?
Dina ,   USA   (07.31.13)
Kerry & Livni display of dispicable behavior must stop. It is sickening.
6. Where is the History book?
Izzy ,   USA / Israel   (07.31.13)
Has everybody forgot their history? Did people forget in 1967 Jordan attacked Israel and lost the war? Do people know their was never a Palistinian Government or Leader before 1967? Do people know the West Bank was land located in Jordan, and the Arabs who call themselves Palistinians are Jordanian? Does anybody use a history book anymore? I ask? What history book explains the people of Palistine? Other than they came from Jordan. The West Bank belonged to Jordan, but lost the land was lost when they war lost the War. Jordan the country, decided to Annex the land to Israel. Today, these Jordanianians do not want the land or Palistinian people to returned to Jordan. The old Jordanians decided they want a new identity and want to creat a country, by teaching the world the lands were stolen by Jews.. Can a pro Palistinian, talk back to these comments and refer me a history book that I can read and understand why the Palistinians believe Israel has settled and occupied Palistinian lands? I want to read a history book showing Israel is the aggressor. I appreciate the book referal, I will read the book with an open mind and I'm interested in hearing another side of this conflict. Thanks Bigizz USA / Israel Peace Lover!
7. Releasing 100 jew-killers is ''making progress'' ?
Baumann Yaacov   (07.31.13)
Can it get worse? Woe, woe to those who fight Israel - Israels God will destroy you like the ancient egyptian army !
8. Livni was about to cede Jerusalem.
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.31.13)
Livni cost us victory in Lebanon, with her idiotic cease fire with Hizbullah. She disgraced us at Annapolis. She was about to cede Jerusalem when she lost the election. Livni is beyond pathetic.
9. Tsipo looks great in her feminist black pantsuit
Jeroboam   (07.31.13)
What happened to those shoulder patches women used to wear, made them look like hopped-up bulls. Now they just look like sad washed up femi-abortionists. By the way, what are the Tsipo's accomplishments again?
10. Butchert gardens in the Negev? Not delusional at all.
Michael ,   California, USA   (07.31.13)
The settlers can be moved, probably want to be moved, many of them. Negev's Machtesh Ramon could use a garden like the Butchert Gardens in Brentwood Bay, Canada. Warm regards, indeed.
11. alliance
john ,   toronto   (07.31.13)
The meeting was on forming alliances against threats, so that is an intention to still create disturbance in the region.I am sure the leaders agree on many things.Failure is not an option for the talks . The fate of its leaders depends on this.
12. Alliance against regional threats?
Israeli 2   (07.31.13)
Do you honestly believe the Egyptians, the Jordanians or any Arab "alliance" will openly or even secretly support Israel against each other? What alliance? What regional threats? Please break these talks. It is a waste of time.
13. What! Another Arab state!
Gentile-man ,   USA   (07.31.13)
Arabs are their own worst enemies. Over 100,000 of Arabs killed by OTHER Arabs in the ongoing Arab world turmoil. Nope, the world does NOT need another Arab nation called Palestine!!! Heck isn't 22 Arab nations already too many in the ME versus one tiny Jewish one?!!? Not that, but the 22 nations sit on over 99% of ME land —guess which nation sits on the remaining part!! It's not about land. It's the inborn Arab hatred, intolerance, bigotry, genocidal tendencis and proclivites to lies and historical revisionism that make them not only a menace to themselves, but to their neighbors as well! NO! Not another Arab state!!! NEVER!!! The world does not need more imbalance on the status quo!!
14. Indyk another "expert" = an
DT ,   TA Israel   (07.31.13)
instrument for failure or "success" at Israel's expense- again
15. Here is what the middle east will look like
Nir ,   Ramat Hasharon   (07.31.13)
in a few years time.. regardless of what we do or think about it : 1. A Palestinian state in the West bank and Gaza, free of Israeli colonies, with a constitution and armed police force, and with East Jerusalem as it´s capital. 2. An Israeli state with an ethnic Palestinian minority which is free to move between states at all times and interact with their nation state. 3. A Jordanian Arab state with open borders and free trade agreements with Palestine. 4. A more open and west-friendly Iran, with improved relations with America and nuclear power.
16. #15 Nir
albert snow ,   sweden   (07.31.13)
Yes but only when the palestinians recognize Israel as a jewish state, want to live in peace and develope friendly relations with the state and it´s jewish people, and forever lay down their ambitions to conqer Israel. But until then....dream on.
17. line of thought
Sam Sweiry ,   Eastbourne - UK   (07.31.13)
why cant Jews live in the West Bank under Palestinian Authority like the Arabs living under Israeli Authority - Lets have your comments
18. The American in the middle ...
Devorah   (07.31.13)
always ends up with egg on his face every single time. This will be no different.
19. small correction
London, Uk   (07.31.13)
You are right to say the palestinians originated from Jordan and Egypt but the West Bank never belonged to Jordan. they never claimed the West Bank, they occupied the territory and built illegal "settlements"- the villages that are there today. all that this government has to do is to claim the West Bank as part of Israel and give the arab villagers full Autonomy on the territory they allready taken over and let them live like Andora or Lichtenstein this way they stay out of Israel and we don't need to give them one more thought.
20. In what reality show do you live in????
London, Uk   (07.31.13)
FFS What the hell are you smoking there in Ramat Hasharon. You look at Abu-Mazen and you see a pink smiling bobble head???? WAKE UP!!! they are not your friends and not even trying to be.
21. Negotiations... shmunegotiations
Sarah B. ,   U.S.A./Israel   (07.31.13)
This will go nowhere. Ersatz Palestinians are the first to oppose a provisory settlement. Besides, the main forces in the region, Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, Syria, are against any positive development. It is just a question of months to watch Livni and Molcho arrives with empty hands...
22. # 15 to NIR
Muna ,   Doha   (07.31.13)
Mabruk, Nir.. I always get so frustrated when I enter this site, but your comment is wonderful. It made my day. Let me add something else to your vision of the region in 5 years hence: 1. 51 New Embassies of Arab and Muslim countries will be opened in West Jerusalem. 2. Hundreds of new hotels and malls will be built throughout Israel to receive the millions of new tourists coming from the region. 3. Israeli companies will invest heavily in the region and vice-versa creating the most dynamic region in the planet. 4. The contact of Israelis with a different kind of Arab mentality - the one that accepts Israel, that recognizes it and sees it as the new kid on the block - will also change the perception of Israel towards its own Arab population. This will create a more open and tolerant society. 5. Israel will be a leading country in the region, representing the Middle East in the International organs, sport associations and why not? a member of the Arab League. Israelis, time has arrived for Arabs accept you and you accept us. Take this opportunity. Two States for two peoples. I want to visit Tel Aviv and your museums, your nightlife your beaches. Let's look at the future. Shalom, Salam.
23. Nir
dan ,   DC   (07.31.13)
you are very naive and idealistic. how do you think that this is what a new middle east will look like when the current middle east looks like something very different. do you really think that iran with nuclear power will be a good thing? you are a danger to yourself.
24. Jews have no historical right (Livni: "won't argue history")
Cyberbrain ,   Israel   (07.31.13)
So we'll concede that point and the herd remains asleep
25. #22Muna, I wish it too; reality is different
Norbus ,   JERUSALEM   (07.31.13)
Talks , will buy up to 9 months for each of the three parties involved, primarily to see what emerges from an usually destabilised Middle East, a few $billions to enrich ABBAS & his cronies, and a lull for Israel to do what it has to do vis a vis Iran's threat. Best outcome, a hudna with Arabs, and Iran threat sorted. Hudna , a truce, requires All Arab States, All Palestinians to agree on the Arab side, and meaningful long term security for the Jewish State.....Anything less is a total sham :...waste of time Even such a Hudna is practically impossible to achieve. A second coming is more likely than achieving an all Arab consensus. However, parties can but try. Peace is in reality unattainable as that would need the Koran to be modified That will not happen in our life time What we might see, is a biblical scale famine and water shortage in Arab Lands .. That might lead to miracles for our time
26. STOP THAT B.S. NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

27. Muna @ #22: If only!!!
Israeli 2   (07.31.13)
I wish - This was my dream always. Major corrections though: 1) All of Jerusalem to Israel. Forget our dreams otherwise. 5) Only one Jewish State for many good, peaceful and peace loving people.Forget our dreams otherwise.
28. To Sam
Sarah B. ,   U.S.A/Israel   (07.31.13)
Arabs living in Israel are Israeli citizens. Ask the settlers in Judea and Samaria if they want to be citizens of ersatz Palestine... As far as I know Abass doesn't oppose Jews living there if they accept to pay taxes, vote for the Palestine Parliament and get Palestine citizenship.. ask them and answer me back. I am curious, Sam.
