(07.31.13)
PATHETIC!!! Just pathetic. I question her maturity to be honest, Zehava Gal-On seems way to petulant and immature to be a lawmaker.

6. Time for Israeli Arabs to put up or shut up
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (07.31.13)
But they gotta stop whining first. I've been sayin for years that the Arabs are their own worst enemy and they simply don't utilize their democratic power. With this law, the Arabs have no choice but to stop behaving like Jews --- you know, like the way people behave at synagogues...stabbing each other in the back, cheating each other, bad mouthing each other. They have 20 percent of the vote, and they could easily have 20 percent of the Knesset and HUGE political clout. Ok, not so easily, since they'd have to work together. It's time for the Arabs in the Kneset to spit on Meretz and tell them they've had enough of whiney left-wing politically incorrect saps. Here's your challenge, my fellow citizens: unite! Get your act together, bury your hatchets and form a single block to run in the next elections - and get ALL of your voters out to vote!!! Don't be like the Haredim - teach your kids civics, get them into model parliaments, encourage them to run for municipal office and gain experience. We'll all be better off for it!
7. power
john ,   toronto   (07.31.13)
A weak government is getting even more worried that they have to pass laws to hold on to power. I hope such attempts are ignored.
8. governance

11. Arabs in Knesset
Dan ,   florida - Tel Aviv   (08.01.13)
There are no Jews in any Arab Governmental position in any Arab Islamic country. We are a Jewish nation and the Arabs members of the Knesset must be summarily expelled. They only represent being a Fifth Column of treason to weaken and destroy Israel. Despite that they live better in Israel than in any other Islamic nation, they prove their ignorance and slavish adherence to a barbaric medieval philosophy and lifestyle. Kick them out!!!!!
12. thrilled to see Gal-On "weep"
CJK   (08.01.13)
she knows that her evil ways are done with.
13. I support Avigdor first time ever. A wise bill, a good bill.
Michael ,   California, USA   (08.01.13)
Small parties can survive within one larger party and iron out their differences in the primaries of that party. As is, the Knesset is wasting time on trivialities which are bombarded upon it by the smaller parties. Talk among yourselves, you fringies, and compromise without bothering the main body of Knesset. Knesset is there to deal on a large scale with really important issues of Israeli survival. Bravo Avigdor.
14. big deal! in Germany its 5%
nothing new   (08.01.13)
15. Zehava Gal-On is crying because...
Beautiful Haifa   (08.01.13)
...her party will no longer reach the threshold to sit in the Knesset and therefore she won't be able to work towards the harm and destruction of Israel from within.

Barney ,   USA   (08.01.13)
19. great vote
jennifer ,   jerusalem, Israel   (08.01.13)
transfer all the arabs and non Jews OUT of Israel! This is THE JEWISH HOMELAND! Let's make room for all Jews who want to come! Do not give citizenship to non Jews nor give them the ability to own land in Israel~ this will also lower the cost of housing in Israel-it is time that Israel do what is best for Israel- and not look at what world says!
20. "silence is golden"
tiki ,   belgium   (08.01.13)
A look into the future.....policy of silence from Galon & Arab friends. What a glorious thought.
21. #6 Arabs don't have 20% of the vote...
Eyal ,   Israel   (08.01.13)
since Arabs constitute only 16-17% of Israel's citizens. The Arabs in the villages and towns around Jerusalem are not Israeli citizens and are not eligible to vote.
22. finally!
ej ,   tlv   (08.01.13)
this law brings stability to the Knesset, which will no longer be hostage to splinter political groups.
