Dual nationality is commonplace. Israel is a country at war and national service is compulsory not so in US. I served with a British Israeli who after 3 years serving in the British paratroopers served in IDF. Get over it

Once Haredi soldiers will start to make a difference in their communities and guide others to obey the laws of the country at every phase of their lives, the respect will be restored to Haredim in Israel. After these Haredi soldiers return to civilian life, they will continue to lead the way to improvements among members of their communities: they will learn a profession, become gainfully employed, treat every citizen in Israel with respect.
