They are persecuted here ? So why are they staying in this country ? They can leave , with ALL their supporters , NO SANE person will miss them
2. They want the same thing we are negotiating in DC right now
Israel Tachlis ,   Jerusalem   (08.02.13)
Promoting non-violent and peaceful cooperation with our Muslim neighbors to take sovereign control of the land of Israel away from the Jews? Sounds pretty much like what Bibi sent Tzipi over to America to discuss with the Arabs at this very moment. It also sounds a lot like what every single leftist spouts off about all the time. The only difference is these guys use the Torah as their justification whereas everyone else waxes on with their secular humanist garbage. But in the end aren't they (and a big chunk of our government) advocating essentially the same thing? As an aside I must give credit where credit is due. Kudos to Ynet for finally showing Charedim, the Eidah, and even NK as nuanced people with a range of outlooks instead of a bunch of primitives frothing at the mouth to murder every chiloni in sight.. sof sof
3. Shame..

This article delve so so much into the twisted minds of the N.C that it almost advertise their agenda ! Shame on you Y net, readers are not interested to "know" and "understand" these ULTRA extremists FOLKS... Instead it should have explained the face that these people are an extreme minority that has the same interests as Israel's enemies, and one of them acted upon thier teachings, simple as that.

No they're not using the Torah as their justification, because there's no mention of Israel needing to be under foreign domination so that a Moshiach can come and rescue them. This Moshiach belief came along comparatively late, probably around the time of the Maccabiim and more certainly during Roman times. It became a teaching of the Sages and later Rabonim, but there's no Torah certification. A Moshiach in Torah language and Torah times was the description given to an anointed King or anointed High Priest. The key point was the anointment with oil which had been especially made and blessed The actual word means "he who is anointed with oil". There is nothing supernatural or miraculous about a Moshiach. He doesn;t walk around with a halo around his head like Christians seem to believe. Accept it..
5. Kobi, why don't you respect the religious
Israeli 2   (08.02.13)
community and the Haredim? All we have asked of YNet was never ever to associate these NK traitors with Haredim. The NK have taliban women. The Haredim and the religious have normal women.

Disagree with you. Many if not most of us are interested in learning more about people and items in the news. If you want to "play ostrich" you are not required to read the info, but most of us prefer to know.

Now this is the crux of the matter; your definition may I suggest is very subjective. To a secular, for a woman to shave/hide her hair and then don a wig appears to be rather ridiculous and certainly not normal. For an adult man, never mind a child to spend all their waking hours to contemplate the so called word of GOD instead of pursuing a life of goodness in helping humanity to genuinely progress in peace and tolerance is I would suggest for more preferable and constructive and should there be a GOD, I am sure that it would look very kindly on this representation of the Torah. Respect has often been said to be earned by positive action not spending ones life as a parasite on the backs of the non religious society.

While the Naturei Karta are definitely the lunatic fringe, you also have groups like the Satmar who are also anti-Zionist, So perhaps it's not difficult to understand why most Israelis are sick to death of the whole lot of them and would like to see them get the hell out of Israel.
10. Autin #4 you are plain wrong
Rabbi Yakov Lazaros ,   USA   (08.02.13)
The belief in Moshiach is a fudamental principle of Judaism. So writes the Rambam the greatest Jewish scholar of the past 1000 year. All the prophets Isiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, etc prophesized about the coming of Moshiach. Even in the Torah in the story of Bilam he talks about the coming of Moshiach. I would suggest you do some studying and research before deciding what Judaism believes.

The Satmar Rebbe in New York said in print that the Naturei Karta are 'misguided outcasts'. Several Naturei Karta self-ordained 'rabbis' kissed Ahmidinejad betweern 20 and 30 times during his Holocaust conference, proving to be the first traditional 'stream' to ordain actively gay rabbis. On this subject don't imagine Sodom's Laws refers to sodomy. It refers to the lack of justice in Sodom.
