Are they not chemicals ? Then i prefer BIO food , without chemicals . But the best ? Give me the Gefilte fish and the latkes my mother ZL prepared for us .
5. Why would anyone want gefilte fish to taste of falafel?
Anna ,   Montreal, Canada   (08.19.13)
Also. I never could understand why we have to fake fish to taste like crab meat? What will be next- chicken tastes like pork? Do we really need all these extra chemicals into our body?
6. kosher chemicals?
sujaye ,   usa   (08.19.13)
Ridiculous ! How can red 40,blue 1, yellow 5 and the others be kosher? They didn't have these things when Kashrut laws were made. Time to re-examine "cleanliness ". I believe that we should stop worrying about the kosher plate and start worrying about the poison we put on it. Time to bring back a Beit Din and reassess kosher
7. Taste buds are mutilated on the eighth day.
Michael ,   California, USA   (08.19.13)
Men only. Women continue to enjoy tasty food throughout their lives. I recommend Haredi men rebel against mutilation on the eight day.

M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (08.19.13)
And it can also be very good. That's a question of taste and what you grew up eating. I had a cousin, z"l, who loved his meat cooked into shoe leather because that's the way "momma made it". I thought it was revolting, but he prevailed on his wife to cook like his mom. On the other hand, my bubbie, z"l, knew what to do with spices and when to take items off the fire or out of the oven. Her gefilte fish was a piquant treat, not like the sweet Polish stuff, and her hazeret could start a 3-alarm fire. My only suggestion is eat what you like and leave the things you don't.

Marry a Moroccan or Tunisian Woman....you;ll have the best tasting Kosher Food!! When I tasted my Mother in Laws Cooking, I said, "wow, this is too delicious to be Kosher." There is more to Jewish Kosher Cuisine then Ashkenazi food.... Viva la cuisine du Morocco!
13. #11- I prefer some real caviar
Anna ,   Montreal, Canada   (08.20.13)
There are some sorts of caviar that are Kosher. At the same time I don't understand why people camouflage kosher fish to look like non kosher crab meat. Better do not pretend and eat what you think is good for you. Some like falafel- some don't.
14. 13 Anna,I agree with you completely.
