There are biased people you might try to convince with substance, but for most of them it's better to safe your breath & energy. US Elke is one of those. She's not only biased, she's babbling nonsense as a profession.
32. Not that I agree with the release but...
Vlad   (08.05.13)
Just a few days ago, I read that Obama released 5 taliban in exchange for opening talks.
33. When will the world ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.05.13)
... come to the realization that humanity and civilization are far better off without Arabs and Moslems? That includes the lunkhead who illegally occupies the White House. Should we really allow a Moslem Kenyan to control our lives? Every action he has taken -- whether foreign or domestic -- has been to promote Arab and Islamic terror and denigrate democracy. The current occupant of the White House has a very clear agenda. Sadly, that agenda does not bode well for democracy or for the people of the United States of America. Well -- those of us who are not Moslems, Arabs or terrorists. He's a fraud, a phony and -- guess what? -- He never quite managed to pass the bar exam. That is doubtless why he went to work as a "neighborhood organizer." All that taxpayer money that sent him to Harvard was for naught. He couldn't even pass the bar exam! Mr. President, indeed. If Mr. Magoo were to run in 2016, the American people would vote for him. It would be politically incorrect to do otherwise .... Mr. Magoo, after all, does stutter.
34. Prisonners release
X   (08.05.13)
Is an obligation if Israël according to Oslo accords, the obligation of PA was to desarm the resistance they did. As usual Israël did not respect its engagement.

Eaglebeak ,   Left Ccoast, USA   (08.05.13)
Poor people have poor ways. People who work for the government or who are sponging off of the government will always vote for more government. Too many Americans will vote for whoever promises something for nothing because they are not smart enough to understand everything has a price. Obamacare is a good example.
36. #26 selective misreadings
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (08.05.13)
Oslo did not state that Israel would release all the prisoners - that is an outright lie. Next exact what provision of those accords has the PA NOT VIOLATED? Care to name a single one? Bet not - because there is not a treaty that they have signed that they haven't violated every single provision of. Nor is there a single obligation that they have ever fulfilled even for one day.
37. Israel should welcome I.C.C. battle. We'll win gloriously!
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.05.13)
More than 1,000 world leading international jurists have told the E.U., in no uncertain terms, Israel has every legal right to build in Judea and Samaria. When the evil "Palestinian" poseurs take Israel to the I.C.C., as they often threaten, the I.C.C. will have two choices. 1) It can admit the "Palestinians" are complete frauds, which is the truth. 2) It can issue a politically motivated condemnation of Israel. If it does this, it will be absolutely destroyed by many of the world's greatest lawyers. Either way, Israel will win gloriously!
38. Bingo.
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (08.05.13)
39. Name one U.S. President who harmed America more than Obama?
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.05.13)
40. To nr 37 - You're absolutely correct
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (08.05.13)
However Israel's legal rights stretch far deeper and wider than you can imagine. Chaim, you seem to have forgotten the fact that the legal borders of the nascent and slowly reborn Jewish state in the early 20th century, were stipulated by the world powers in the two (2) legally binding treaties called the San Remo treaty (signed April 1920 in San Remo - Italy) and the Anglo-American treaty (signed 3rd of December 1924 in London - United Kingdom). These two (2) legally binding treaties explicitly stipulate that the legally defined borders of the Jewish state would include Cis-Jordan (including Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, Golan Heights and Gaza Strip), Trans-Jordan (Jordan) and southern Lebanon up until the bend of the Litani river. You're absolutely correct that Israel has 100% legal rights to claim Judea and Samaria and Jerusalem - but Israel has also 100% legal rights to claim Gaza, Golan, Trans-Jordan and southern Lebanon up until the bend of the Litani river. Indeed Israel will win - God Bless you Chaim, but the borders that you are suggesting are just the minimum that Israel should agree to. And the Arabs of course will have to be deported, to the great detriment of the Neo-Fascist revisonist of history and international law - "elke, USA".
41. # 10 obama did release some Gitmo Muslim terrorists
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (08.05.13)
I believe their diapers were filled from the news.
42. Kerry IS rubbish or a paid rubbish hauler
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (08.05.13)
actually BS is more like it but, what do you expect of Kerry who married for money and then, when his wife gets ill, abandons here? ( Maybe he's waiting for her to die to count her money?) KEEP BUILDING !!!!!
43. #40. Exactly. Israel has the law 100% on her side.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.05.13)
You are exactly right, Alexander. Israel has the law 100% on her side. Which makes the conduct of Bibi, and other appeasing "leaders", even more unconscionable. Israel needs to stop the sick, evil "peace talks with Palestinians" who want to mass murder us all. We need to claim ALL our land. No more games. No more B.S.
44. plan is not flawed
david ,   new york   (08.06.13)
the plan is to temporarily appease the arabs/moslems by throwing israel under the bus. as such, everything is according to schedule. where's the flaw?? btw: it always amuses me how israelis have this doe eyed belief that the "peace process" is for their benefit. isnt it so nice that everyone is so concerned with our welfare (NOT). the "peace process" has nothing to do with israelis living in peace. it was always about arab/moslem appeasement and israel is being "forfieted" to buy some positive airtime on al-jazeera.
45. #33.If he had better grades,he wud have been a big Lawyer
Alan ,   SA   (08.06.13)
in one of those great Law Partnerships in US and NOT a Community Organiser....I would like to know how many Law Firms consigned his Application and CV to the trash can after he graduated. How many top Harvard Graduates aspire to be a Community Organiser on the Chicago South Side???..He scraped thru with one mark after multiple exam attempts. What a flop! This is the POTUS?
46. Numbers are all wrong.
Austin ,   Canada   (08.06.13)
A proper numerical equivalent would be over 5,000 terrorists freed, considering that the united states has approximately 50 times the population of Israel.
47. #39 Chaim: George Herbert Walker Bush!
Dee Bee ,   Israel   (08.06.13)
He was the first to make Israel sit down with terrorists at the Madrid Conference! He also allowed Israel to be humiliated bye Saddam Hussein's Scud missiles with no retaliation. Let's not forget that the Prime Mister at the time was no less that the "Hawkish" Likudnik Itzchak Shamir! Even at Madrid he said NO! which is something we don't hear from our Bibi Netanyahu! Of course, there was nothing weak or wishy-washy about Shamir. He did not believe in Zig Zag!
48. #47. Nobody can make Israel do anything.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.06.13)
#47. George Walker Bush was not one of America's better presidents. However, this is not the real issue. The real issue is Israel standing tall against pressure and blackmail. Nobody can make Israel do anything. They can apply pressure against Israel. However, Israel can refuse to submit. Just as Churchill refused to submit to enormous pressure to "make peace" with Hitler. Submitting to pressure is NEVER the right decision. Israel is never pressured to do anything good. Those applying the pressure know they are trying to harm Israel. A real Israeli leader just says "NO".
49. #48 Unfortunately, Shamir is dead
A ,   Belgium   (08.07.13)
As are Begin, Ze'evi, Eitan and the rest of the Israeli politicians who loved their country and people more than they loved themselves. And I didn't even mention Kahane.
50. #49. There are a few Israeli leaders who appear good enough.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.07.13)
#49. I am impressed with Moshe Feiglin's clear refusal to back down on the Temple Mount issue. He is willing to pay the price for doing the right thing. Which is exactly the type of P.M. Israel desperately needs. There are a few Israeli leaders who appear good enough to do the job. We need to help them replace the cowards who run Israel today.
