Exactly so!!!

You people who want to blame the "settlements" for everything never seem to have an answer as to why there was no peace before 1967, when Israel won that land, where the "settlements" were built. Jewish people should have a right to live anywhere they want in the world just like every other people, and especially in the land where their civilization began and where most of their holy sites are. But antisemites like you want to deny them that right, and blame them for everything when everyone who knows the real truth about this conflict knows it is the Arabs refusal to recognize Israel's right to exist, and their Nazi like hatred of Israel and the Jewish people that is the real reason for the ongoing war and conflict.

Perhaps you prefer the Muslim way of reacting to cartoons by killing people at random who have nothing to do with the cartoon itself? How dare those Jews write a letter. How awful. Why can't they just shut up and lie still while the world kicks them and picks on them? How dare they complain....the nerve of them.

["How dare those Jews write a letter."] Not Jews, the embassy, that's really a big difference. You may write as many letters as you wish, but honestly, do you really think that it is the right reaction, that the EMBASSY writes a protest letter, just because some newspaper has publishes a caricature that doesn't reflect the Israeli government's opinion? You can't be serious!! Do the US write protest letters, when foreign newspapers criticise Guantanamo?
35. It's not just Germany - it's all Europe
Rotem ,   ISrael   (08.07.13)
They shaking in their pants in regards of the Muslim migrations, so each much easier to blame the Jews of all the troubles in this world.
36. So how did this 'reporter' like the 72 Munich Olympic Games?
BUILD BABY BUILD !!! ,   United States   (08.07.13)
Any one who supports the pals supports terror, lies, land thefts, assassins, 'pal teen martyrs', honor killings, female mutilation, Islamic radicalization, Sharia law, (= death ) you know all the 'wonders of Islam' that is a killing field for Muslim vs. Muslim. KEEP BUILDING !!!!
37. #6 Are you a Sudetendeuscher?
Raphael ,   Netanya   (08.07.13)
If Israel gave back the settlements-most of them built on lands bought at an expensive price before resolution 181- n odoubt the Arabs would find any other pretext to ask for Israel's destruction, as they did before 1967. The arab irredentists are the exact copy of the far right german refugee organizations who want polish and czech provinces given back to Germany.
38. I wonder if they'll make another cartoon
(08.07.13)
of Abbas dripping "terror attacks" and "suicide bombings" into the bread as well. oh right, i forget, building houses is SO MUCH WORSE then killing Israelis. it is indeed the true obstacle for peace.
39. #9. Israel doesn't need paper signed by P.A. terrorists.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.07.13)
Israelis are far too wise to be manipulated your endless nonsense, Michael. Judea and Samaria belong to Israel and are vital for Israel's survival. This is obvious to any literate child capable of reading a map. Israel has no need of a worthless piece of paper signed by P.A. terrorists.
40. #6. Judea and Samaria legally belong to Israel.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.07.13)
Talking about Israel "hanging onto" Judea and Samaria is like talking about America "hanging onto" California. Judea and Samaria have belonged to Jews for more than 3,500 years. Israel's legal ownership of Judea and Samaria has been indisputably proven by world leading international law experts. More than 1,000 leading lawyers just served the E.U. with proof Judea and Samaria belong to Israel. Israel has no need for a worthless piece of paper signed by P.A. terrorists.
41. I don't blame the Germans
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.07.13)
They cannot help themselves. They do not know any better. Can anyone here spell "Holocaust?" Isn't that proof enough? The Germans are the last people on earth with any right to lecture upon peace. They do not know the meaning of the word. Let's see ... Bismarck (Franco-Prussian War) -- Kaiser Wilhelm (World War I) -- Nazism (World War II). Oh, yeah. Let's REALLY take our marching orders (pun intended) from the Germans. Their Nazi history extends well before -- and well after -- the Nazis. Oh! Did I neglect to mention the Munich Olympics? Sorry. Simple oversight. The United States dropped the bomb on the wrong country. Really.

The reaction isn't mine but I can understand it. I really don't care much if some idiot draws a cartoon that is so far off the mark of what the truth is and posts it in a news paper. Life is full of idiots and one just has to get used to it. As to the US not writing protest letters, Americans never experienced a Holocaust and that explains the difference.

It is not anti-semitic. It has its bias against Bibi.
46. # 41 - are you off the rails today?
Mike Carmel ,   Rishon le Zion   (08.07.13)
Your comment - "The United States dropped the bomb on the wrong country. Really." - is rabidly sick and revolting. Even by your warped standards, this is way over the top. Germany today - and I remind you that we are in the 21st century and not the 1940's - is Israel's closest ally in Europe. So a German magazine criticizes Netanyahu - SO WHAT!! Is he some sort of super human who is immune to criticism? NO, NO, NO.

DavidR ,   USA   (08.07.13)
I suspect that if there is ever, G-d forbid, another holocaust, that you will be proudly leading the march into the gas chambers. Fear not though. Your great German ally will make it short and painless.
48. Israelis never change
Nicolas Carmi ,   Buenos Aires, Argent   (08.07.13)
It's actually Israelis the ones who never change. Or maybe they do but just to play the stupid and not to be called to PAY FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE.
49. "a staple of German life"?
swallow ,   Germany   (08.08.13)
I'm afraid you got it slightly wrong, dear Mr. Pielet. These days Anti-Judaism is the sole child of our political lefties, backed by the forced-into-line media. YES, FORCED INTO LINE. Socialism. INTER-national Socialism. Stalin was great, Allah is greater. Like that. Germany has degenerated from a once Parlamentaric Democracy to a Brussels based Administrative Dictatorship. There is hardly ANY media left that uncompromisingly represents the opinion of the German civil majority. Please keep that in mind, sir. Thank you. And YES, there IS Anti-Semitism as well - due to the rapidly growing number of Muslims in this country.

52. Settlements
Jan ,   Hamburg, Germany   (08.08.13)
"It is the settlements that have given the Arabs and others an excuse for continuing terrorism and instigating boycotts." Nonsense. Antsemites do not need any excuse. If it is not the settlements they would find another reason for continuing terrorism, which they can sell to left idiots in Europe.
53. Partly right
Dan   (08.14.13)
The settlements are not the cause of Arab aggression, and I didn't say they were. But they are a fantastic pretext for Arab aggression - they can hide their racist hatred behind a claim to be 'resisting' imperialist land-grabbing. That is why the settlements are poison: they camouflage Arab racism. Remove them and the Arabs' real agenda will be exposed for all to see.
54. Judea/Samaria are not parts of Israel
Dan   (08.14.13)
#40. If they 'legally' belonged to Israel they would officially be part of Israel. Yet even Israel doesn't see it that way and has never annexed these areas - brought them under Israeli law, as they have done for East Jerusalem and the Golan. Only the religious extremists think these areas are in Israel.
