It is wrong for Jews to take an internal Jewish Synagogue matter that involves no crimes or violations of general American laws, to the American judicial system. Bells and other riches having nothing really to do with the Faith of Israel anyway. Outsiders are right to see this as a joke--a Jewish joke. But in America, I guess the habit is to dispute and go to court. Not that a wise non-Jewish mediator is inherently a bad idea, and sometimes an outsider can impose objectivity. This seems to be a turf battle, or at least a misunderstanding about turf rights. How could that even happen? We Jews put everything in writing!
