31. The 4 State solution.
Menachem Ben Yakov ,   Jerusalem Israel   (08.14.13)
Jordan, parts of the West Bank, Gaza. The Palestinians already control 85% of Palestine. Perhaps the " brutal occupation " this article speaks about is more correctly identified with the Muslim genocide against the Jews. They want nothing less than to drive us into the sea. But they are not our biggest problem. Our biggest problem is the left wing loons who prefer fantasy over reality and continue to push Israel to give up more land to Islamic fanatics. I wish the writer would spend six months in Sderot and find out how well the fantasy works in the real world.

Your long writing is not gonna change the facts that Israel is occupying west bank.
33. History of the world did not begin June 1967
Arnold ,   Montreal-Canada   (08.14.13)
Following the end of WW 1 circa 1918 it was the British and French that had the controlling mandate of the whole Middle East. The British were in charge of the area of Palestine. During this time PALESTINIAN Arabs were killing PALESTINIAN Jews just because they were Jews. All under the watchful eye of the Grand Muftis of Jerusalem and of Cairo. Whatever occupation was that of the British. So "righting the wrong" is not really correct.

"don't confuse me with any facts ... my feelings are more important" Your short writing is not going to change the FACT that Israel isnot occupying anything. Why are you so proud of your ignorance?

I assume you read the "long" piece but nothing was retained in your memory bank. I'll give you an example. Persia was renamed Iran but it is still Persia. Judea and Samaria were renamed the West Bank but they are still Judea and Samaria. Hebrew land. All this would be moot if the Arabs had accepted their Hebrew cousins. But alas that is not in the mindset of the Arab on the street. That is why the Arabs tossed out all their Jewish populace following the re-creation of the State of Israel.. end part # 1

When the USA accepts your theory, so will I
37. Again writter circumstantial analysis
Avram Goldsmith ,   Toronto, Canada   (08.14.13)
Seems as high school essay, superfecial, promoting idheological cause , deep analysis base on cause and effect you are no point out the Arab disses which HATE YOU AND WANT TO DESTRO YOU, and you are playing with the circumstances for idheological gain.

No, the world was not created 5774 years ago. But that has nothing to do with the truth written in post #25. You ignore answering any of his points as you don't have an answer. Your silence speaks louder than words.

You rely on the US to tell what is the correct way to do something? LOL !
41. Are Israelis seeking 9 mile wide Israel insane?
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.15.13)
I am not being facetious. This is a serious question. Are Israelis seeking to trim Israel's waist to 9 miles insane? Do they have a death wish? How else can you explain the desire to turn Israel into a 9 mile wide concentration camp surrounded by genocidal "Palestinian" foes? How else can you explain Israelis who think this is something to strive for? Can you even imagine someone wanting their children and grandchildren to grow up under these concentration camp conditions? What is this if not historically unprecedented lunacy?
42. Umm, what occupation? Arabs occupying Israeli lands?

an op-ed stating the obvious. Namely that justice has two faces in Israel.
44. Reply to two foes
Joel   (08.15.13)
Pardon me for calling a spade a spade, but both "rm" from Holland and "Stan" from Israel are just that. Both are devoid of and short on verifyable reason and logic, but full of raging angry conformist (how weird!) conservative status quo liberal leftist hatred against the Jewish state. Neither has anything other than ideoloogical zeal and burning hatred on their side, just like the wrier of this short piece. Rm, do you really need me to evoke all the stomach-turning/-churning crimes you country is respinsible for up to this very day? You would be crying until 'morrow morning. your state is the ipso facto poster boy of the woeful phenomenon how to sweep under the rug all the crimes a country has committed and never, *NEVER* once forced to face up to its demons. Possibly the worst and most cowardly country in the whole european continent if you ask me. So slow down my chap, your hypocrisy is colossal and enormous. You have zero right to throw even a word at Israel my friend. As for Stan, it's acutely debatable if he is a real Israeli. (With such a snobbish WASP name, especially so.) Other than this, deluding himself that he is only a "critic" and not an antisemtie in light of the egregious double-standards (or worse) he is employing is all to crystal clear... Joel W. Wow! Which Israel is this person living in, certainly not the real one. Must have gotten hold of a PA school history book!

And which "two faces" are you talking about? The two faces that Israel shows by respecting other religions? Arabs go to the same hospitals as Jews and are treated by the same Jewish and Arab doctors and nurses; they serve on the Supreme Court and are in the government as Israeli-Arabs vote. The 'two faces' belong to the author of post #43.
48. Your support
Sara ,   Israel   (08.18.13)
The release of murderers, who are ready and willing to murder again and incited to do so by their communities, will likely have 2 consequences you probably won't like: more dead Jews, including some you probably know and may care about, and more dead terrorists. Have you considered that these releases act as a disincentive to our soldiers who risk their lives to capture them? Might they not bother, in future, to conclude such operations with live terrorists to be tried and released? Don't you think the Israeli public, sick of seeing kidnappings followed by release and recidivism, may decide a legal death penalty for terrorist murder is a better option?
49. What does one thing have to do with another?
hmp49 ,   Asheville, NC USA   (08.19.13)
Even if your description of a "violent ISraeli occupation" were accurate, releasing convicted prisoners does not address the hypothetical damage. You might as well say paying the Palestinians a few billion and deporting them all to Jordan would be "righting the wrong"
