1. Hypocrites
Sam SM ,   UK   (08.17.13)
I'm sure there'll be a UN general assembly resolution condemning persecution of Christians in the Middle East!! Supported, of course, by the approximately 50 odd Islamic member states who dominate this 'impartial organization' and who have always stood up for 'human rights'. After all there's no bias in the UN is there? And the EU will put their hypocritical, islamo-friendly 'multicultural agenda' to one side and help the Copts in Egypt. The international community is absolutely gutless.
2. Remember the Maronite Christians?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.17.13)
Were it not for Israel's incursion into Lebanon, there would not be a single Christian left in Lebanon. No one seemed to care as they were being slaughtered like flies by Moslems, chiefly the ersatz "Palestinians." How sad to see that the international community has not learned from that. How even sadder to see that the international community, much of which professes to be Christian, is ignoring the plight of Christians in the Arab world, while focusing a great deal of wrath upon the State of Israel. Well .... Israel isn't going to pull anyone's chestnuts out of the coals this time around. Frankly, we're tired of the extraordinary extent of the absence of gratitude. It's up to all the mealy-mouthed Christians throughout the world to do something about the senseless slaughter of Christians in Egypt and elsewhere throughout the Arab world. But the international Christian community was remarkably silent when Moslem Indonesians massacred tens of thousands of Christians in Banda Ace. The slaughter of Christians in Nigeria didn't seem to bother them, either. Israel isn't going to clean up any more messes. The only country in the entire Middle East where Christian communities can grow and thrive -- that's good enough. The international Christian community can save their brother Christians all by their lonesome. Yeah. As if. Shameful on the part of the international Christian community, but there you have it. Perhaps Israel should drag them all to the International Court of Justice in The Hague. Now THAT would have a certain VERY satisfactory ring .....

Ron ,   oc us   (08.17.13)
Oh I forgot that program is too busy blaming Jews for the dwindling Christian numbers in the Arab world.

Christians lived in Iqrit. Who expelled them from their homes?

7. You sleep with dogs
Shimon ,   Poleg   (08.17.13)
You get fleas! The Christian Arabs have backed the wrong horse for generations and this has backfired in every arab country they live. Their mistaken belief and fervant support of Arab secular Nationalism and anti-semitism and support of Muslim Arab persecution of other minorities has not helped the Christains. Arab secular nationalism has morphed into Islamic supremecist policies and the Christians are now hated along with the Jews. These Christians have got exactly what they deserve. Hanan Ashrawi, George Habash, Azmi Bishara, Pope Shenouda they all blindly supported the muslims. The phrase be careful what you wish for it may come true is appropriate for these evil people!
8. Ehh.....no, it hasn't gotten worse.
Gunnar ,   Gothenburg, Sweden   (08.17.13)
As all minorities, throughout history and worldwide, Christians (and especially those living in Egypt) had an extremely difficult situation before 2011 as well. The difference is that the West (how convenient!) chose to turn a blind eye to it, beacuse it didn't want to upset its darling Mubarak.
9. Christians can thank Barack H. Obama

11. Did you read this article, Graysack?
A ,   Belgium   (08.17.13)
You, who professes to be a"Christian" , with speical membership in the "I am holier than thou" club presided over by J.C. himself, and yet you recieve some kind of unholy gratification from your hatred of Israel, Jews, and Judaism. You, who blindly supports the "palestinians" while believing their lies. Well, Graysack, it appears that given the opportunity, your arab friends would just as well chew you up and spit you out like the rotten piece of pig meat that you are. Enjoy the article!
12. #4 Thats what happens when arabs start wars

with Israel. They ALL lose.
13. Hardly a way out! UN says who cares.....
Calabi ,   Sydney Aust   (08.17.13)
Hardly a way out! UN says who cares in silence, without a single utterance when innocents are suffering is unacceptable! So Christians who condemn Israel who defended themselves must think twice and repent! I'm referring those outside Islamic countries. Surely those in Islamic countries who support Israel will be fearful and will be targeted perpetually. It is perplexing..........when two animals fight the grass die...but when they make love the grass also died. Is a lesson for the Jews who believe in a leftist idealism. Christian in the free world must appreciate Israel who survive and thrive as they defend themselves before they are targeted like the indigenous Christians! God bless Israel!
14. Boo Hoo
Dov ,   Tel Aviv   (08.17.13)
They are getting what they rightly deserve. The Christian Arabs were active architects in what is happening today now it has back-fired against them and the Muslims have turned on them they are crying! They cooked the porridge and now they have to eat it up!
15. wake up world!!!

This is the true face of Islam - how long till they are burning down churches in Europe ?

Worship must be done at home. It is acceptable at times of danger.

solomon ,   bklyn   (08.17.13)
Ah yes, 500 Christians expelled (not murdered but expelled) in the middle of a war in which Israel was attacked with the sole objective of killing all the Jews, and then the refugees are kept in camps by their arab "bretheren" and not allowed to rebuild their lives...this is the same as Christians being killed by Muslims for years? Proof positive that your posts are total drivel.
18. Sunday followed Saturday. In Moslem countries...
Jack ,   San Diego, USA   (08.17.13)
...first came the Jewish oppression. The Christians did not stand up for the Jews. Now there is no one to stand up for the Christians.
19. To N 2, Mr's Sarah B.
Luiz F Haddad ,   Niteroi, Brazil   (08.17.13)
Dear Lady. Despite of silence and ingratitude from much Christians toward Israel, there are many, like me, who never forget IDF's help, for us, in South Lebanon. Muslim intolerant and terrorist leaders blame the own Kuran, and threats not only you, Jews, but also everybody which doesn't accept their awful guidance. We are not coward. We hope for peace, but, if it is impossible, we will stay entirely at your side. I do salute you.
20. Political Islam
RC ,   USA   (08.17.13)
What is really sad is that Obama and the other naive Liberal political world leaders instigated what is happening in Egypt by supporting the Muslim Brotherhood. The majority of Egyptians do not want sharia law. They know that the Islamist use it to control the people and it can be easily used to wrongly put innocent people to death by using false witnesses. Once the Islamist are in power they use whatever means necessary to stay in power so democracy is only used as a means to get to power. Democracy and Islam just don’t mix well. The Egyptian military had no choice but to act before the Muslim Brotherhood started to put most of their military leadership in jail like Erdogan has done in Turkey. It seems like the Liberal media and politicians can care less about the Jewish and Christian plight in the Islamic run countries. The hate that the Islamist have for the Jews is the same for the Christians. How can anyone truly expect Human rights from Islamist? All you have to do is read and study the Koran and Hadith to get a clue. The only real option left for the Egyptians is to ban the Muslim Brotherhood so that the same situation is not repeated. The same had to be applied to the Nazis elsewhere. To deny the truth is to willingly be blind and foolish..
21. Christians
pgal ,   usa   (08.17.13)
Christians have and continue to support the Jewish state .in fact they are the largest source of revenue that is generated from the tourism industry in Israel. it is been Christian humanitarian aid provided worldwide in all types of disasters. they don't require that you be a Christian to get it. I pray for all who r persecuted no matter what faith.
22. To: No. 19
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.18.13)
Judge, I do entirely understand your view. But I do wonder when Christians plan to rise up and protect their own in the Arab and Moslem world. Israel did it for you once, in Lebanon. Do you remember the wrath of the international community descending upon Israel? I do. Why on earth would we want to endure that again? Launch a Crusade. Save your Christian brethren. Don't look to us. We've learned what happens. Jews will continue to save our own. When will Christians decide to save THEIR own, and stop depending upon the State of Israel to do it for them?
23. Christians help Keep Israel Safe
Ruth Meeuwse ,   USA   (08.18.13)
Without Christians how much more vulnerable would Israel become? The prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
24. Let's also keep in mind Nigerian Chritstians
Bobk ,   Orlando US   (08.18.13)
who have been targeted by Islamic terrorists for over 5 years.Their churches burned and bombed, their communities bombed and their members shot and killed. Thousands have been killed.
25. why do you think that?
Ina Bach ,   Vienna, Austria   (08.18.13)
Now I have read this comment severel times. Look, the Christians dont look to Israel to help them. No one expects that Israel would ever stand up for Christians with the sole aim of helping persecuted Christians, since such has not been seen, not in Lebanon either, where Israel had plenty of other reasons to fight than to simply help the poor Christians. Again we dont depend on Israel to do anything for the Christians in the middle east - although it would be very heroic of Israel if they would give asylum to the persecuted Christians, which they wont. They dont even want to give citizenship to the Christian Jews - when ever did you get this impression, that we are all waiting for Israel to step in and save the day?? Look, I love Israel, but your point seems just a bit hilarious. Concerning that Christians should help their brothers and sisters. Well, news flash, our politicians dont care for Christianity, and they dont want to bother the islamic world. Just look at Obama.
26. #24 NO
(08.18.13)
Since the Obama regime took power, how many times has the President, Vice President or Secretary of State attacked Israel and how many times mentioned the Black Christians of Nigeria? Obama does not care about Black Christians murdered by Islamists, he only cares about Jews building houses and replacing Israel with an Arab state.
27. Good Report
Christy ,   Boston, US   (08.18.13)
Telling it like it is. Christians *don't* have any homeland here. Copts have tried coming to the US - there have been reports/complaints for years that the US Embassies were staffed by people who would favor Muslims over Copts for visas. Various churches, and Christian Groups, try to help those who are suffering in these places. The information is not made very public because the people doing so risk their lives going to areas where being a Christian can get one killed. They haven't been forgotten by Christians in other places. Pray the aid and workers can get through and reach them. Don't look for reports of this aid in the news.
28. #2 ina - wrong
solomon ,   bklyn   (08.18.13)
Christians know that they are safer in Israel than in Muslim countries. Christian arabs are in government and serve in the courts. There is true religious freedom in Israel. And yes, Israel DID save the Maronites when no one else would help them, not even the Vatican. And NO, they didn't have to do it, but Israel did it because of what Israel stands for; there was no other reason. Open your eyes instead of denying what is uncomfortable for you because it doesn't fit your outlook.
29. The number of Christians is dwindling throughout the

Muslim-Arab world, thanks to the way in which Islamic societies deal with fellow citizens of the Christian faith. The only country in the region in which the number of Christians is increasing is Israel, and we, Jews, welcome it. A note to be take!
