1. Pesticides

Pesticides can in themselves be just as dangerous - if not more dangerous - that the cockroaches.
Cleanliness is the answer even in the heat of summer. Bleach works well. Where are the senior officers that should be in charge of the kitchen?!?
|
|
|
Is it kosher to have cockroaches roaming the kashrut kitchen?
What will the IDF soldiers do if Israel actually invades a non-bordering country?
"Mummy, mummy bring me some food!" as in "we should ask our parents to bring us food from home"!!??

Our soldiers deserve better sanitary conditions to perform their duties. Would you like your son to be subject to such an ordeal? Time to provide more funds for the military.

Here's a news flash for you. The majority of Israeli soldiers (and Israelis in general) don't care about is or isn't kosher. The cockroaches, on the other hand, are a whole different story.

9. IDF has a major problem..

It has a discipline problem. An Army marches on it's stomach. Military barracks and kitchens should be spot less and almost germ free. I see Israeli soldiers in Israel wearing sneakers, long hair, ripped shirts, shirts hanging out and wearing dreadlocks etc. It looks like a rag tag militia. It appears that it lacks uniformity and or discipline. Who ever is in charge of that kitchen should be sacked and thrown out of the army.

They're crunchy, high in protein and low in fat. You often get them at restaurants without extra charge.

11. Israel has no serious sanitation program

Any visit to a public beach here
will horrify you piles mounds
of garbage and no policing of the offenders try to find no littering signs
in any Jerusalem neighborhood
they don't exist despite pleas to the city of Jerusalem just for signs!!
Sanitation and cleanliness do not seem to be a priority here to our shame and the rat and cockroach plague has reached catastrophic proportions

I bet this wouldn't be allowed to happen in the Kirya, or in an Air Force Base. But unfortunately, who the hell in the hierarchy cares when it is at a base where there are no senior officers to close the place down immediately.
