1. Excuse me, but ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.20.13)
... Jerusalem is not negotiable. Negotiate Mecca. Negotiate Paris. Negotiate Washington D.C. Hell's bells -- negotiate Buckingham Palace! But Jerusalem? Forget about it. Jerusalem is the eternal, undivided capital of the Jewish people. Sorry, but that's just how it is. Don't like it? Go have your tantrum in the nearest corner. The Europeans and the Americans may be for sale -- sadly, they are -- but the sovereign State of Israel is not. Deal with it.
2. Israel totally rejects views of this dangerous fool.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.20.13)
There is likely not one true statement to be found in Shelah's quotes. Shelah is a dangerous fools whose lunatic views are totally rejected by a huge majority of Israelis.
3. JERUSALEM
T ,   SA/USA   (08.20.13)
How in the world will Israel ever going to agree to divide Jerusalem? I can see a solution to every other problem in the talks but Jerusalem. #1. Israel doesnt really care about sovereignty over the temple mount. They are alaways willing to cede that in talks. #2. They can get over the refugee hump. #3. The division of the westbank is easy #4. Settlements can be overcome by agreeing to borders. But the Palestinians will NEVER give up east Jerusalem and Israel Will NEVER divide Jerusalem.
4. Real bibi.
michael Pielet ,   israel   (08.20.13)
Bibi, a charlatan, coward, and liar, endangering israeli security.
5. Preparing for the possible but not
On the Balcony ,   Akko/NY/Kyiv   (08.20.13)
the inevitable sharing of Jerusalem is not easy. Despite the predictable shrieks of outrage and denials from the rabid right (not to be confused with the real right) MK Shelah is right: no agreement will be reached if consequences are not clearly spelled out by and for both sides which is why "if an agreement is reached, it will have a majority of the public's support." Wait and see.
