31. Hassan Nasrallah visits Savile Row
Volvi   (08.25.13)
to have a suit fitted for him. The tailor kneels measuring his inside leg and says "Which side do you dress Sir, to Politic or Terror?" "Shut up" he replies "I am Haj Imam Admiral General Prime Minister Hassan Nasrallah and I will kill you".
32. #27: Dodo
Israeli 2   (08.25.13)
First of all Chaim from Israel @# 14 is right. He is concerned for HIS country, not yours. Second, do you smell the stench of your antisemitism? It is awful.
33. UK wishes Israel peace
Tuvea ,   Chicago   (08.25.13)
Amb. Gould, It is well known that the 'peace' the UK wishes for Israel is the 'peace of the Grave'. Roger Waters is representative of current UK thought. You, sir, are not.
34. Actually, UK and US hoping Israeli patsy leader will give in
Sam ,   Canada   (08.25.13)
What the US and EU are looking for is that some Israeli leader will ignore security and take big risks so that Palestinians sign a piece of paper saying peace. The UK and US naively hope that a Palestinian state will be enough to make the jihadis stop attacking the West. The jihadis want Israel gone more than they want a Palestinian state. Go tell that to naive Western diplomats.
35. #27. I appreciate Israel's Non Jewish friends enormously.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.25.13)
#27. Gosh David. That was a very long rant with scarcely any truth in it. I appreciate Israel's many Non Jewish friends enormously. However, I know who Israel's friends are. Most Americans are Israel's friends. Obama is not. Far from denigrating America; I love what America stands for. But not Obama's horrid vision of America. While many Europeans are friends of Israel; few E.U. leaders are. That is an unfortunate fact. The boycott against Judea and Samaria communities is plain racist. Nothing less. As for the concentration camp analogy; it is all too true. Nor did it originate with me. Former Israeli Labor P.M. Abba Eban called the 1967 Armistice Lines "the borders of Auschwitz". It is obvious to any literate child, with an open mind, that Eban was 100% correct. Judea and Samaria rightfully belong to Israel. This has been proven by literally thousands of international law scholars. About 1,100 recently told the E.U. this in a recent petition.

solomon ,   bklyn   (08.25.13)
While I might agree that Chaim may be exaggerating, it is understandable, given the history of Europe and the UK vis-a-vis Israel, and the abandonment thereof. Those who do not learn from history are destined to repeat it. And Jews have learned the hard way. You also are prone to exaggeration when you state "Britain, America and Europe has been and will continue to be a staunch ally of Israel and whole heartedly supports its right to exist and defend itself". You have very strange ways of showing it, like insisting Israel give "gestures" to the"Pals", never the other way 'round, insisting that Hezbollah has a non-terrorist part, etc. Do I have to bring up the UNHRC? If you think Chaim is in a fantasy land, you are also in one, but much deeper.
37. Hezbollah was responsible, NOT its "military wing"
Zvi   (08.25.13)
Separating Hezbollah's leaders from the terrorists that they control is foolish and offensive.
38. @27 David Clarke
Belinda ,   Texas, USA   (08.25.13)
I have to respectfully disagree with your opinion. While there are an enormous number of people in the US that support Israel, their government is, IMHO, Israel's enemy. The leadership in this country has done everything in their power to slice Israel's throat every chance they get.
39. Fatso Nasrallah, political or military?
CJK   (08.25.13)
according to nuremberg laws, which are applied only to israel by the uk and eu, it makes no difference. it is sickening just how yellow the europeans are. yet the uk has just given asylum to one of the heads of the muslim brotherhood. france had given asylum to khomeiny. it would seem that these two countries are suicidal.
40.  United against terror
john smith ,   shepherd's bush   (08.25.13)
anyone know what a slimy limy is?
41. Akko and Atlit
Tuvia ,   Tel Aviv   (08.25.13)
I have just come back from a site seing trip to Akko Prison and Atlit. I doubt there is such a sudden change of heart?
42. Actions speak louder than words
Daniel ,   TA - IL   (08.25.13)
and your words are that of a court jew, whereas the uk's actions towards israel have always been empty and supportive of those who committed or want to commit genocide on the jewsih people! Please do not insult our intelligence!
43. #36. Think I exaggerate? Look at a map.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.25.13)
#36 Solomon. I appreciate your words of truth. However, I urge you to look at a map of Israel since you think I exaggerate about the 9 mile wide concentration camp. We are talking about a truly lunatic goal, on the part of Israeli leftists and their enablers such as Bibi. It poses a very serious danger to Israel. Imagine how happy Neo Nazis would be at the prospect of more than 6 million Jews jammed into a 9 mile wide concentration camp!!
44. #2, #3 wrong on all counts 2
solomon ,   bklyn   (08.25.13)
Bombing in Israel is by terrorists and murderers who invented themselves and a fake history, in the 1960’s...and they have admitted as much. The settlements are part of Israel until an agreement is reached with the “Pals” (that’ll be the day!). The “WB” was part of Jewish nations for millenia. Ever wonder why the area is called “Judea”, and why Arabia is called Arabia? You both live in your own fantasies as reality doesn’t agree with your desires.
45. joke
mehrdad ,   germany   (08.25.13)
its a joke that a briton wants to make us belive that the so called military wing of hisbollah can kill jews in bulgaria without order from political leader nasrallah. the problem is hisbollah and not a so called wing.
46. #43 chaim - you are right. I was wrong.
solomon ,   bklyn   (08.26.13)
47. Ambassador Gould
Sam Turecki ,   Raanana   (08.26.13)
Please spare us the treacle. We know the history of the relationship between our 2 countries and it maybe gives you personally a nice feeling to say the words but we know how treachorous British Governments have been, still are, and always will be
48. baaaa british will never help Israel nor jews
ghostq   (08.26.13)
they would rather sit from aside and let other nations do their job. btw the first time was ANZAK troopers who liberated Israelies from the Turkes in 1917. not the British Army.
